A question I have always wondered. If Titleist is always putting the FJ logo on its hats and some other gear items…why don’t we ever see Footjoy include the Titleist script on some of their gear, hats or clothing for us non tour player folks to purchase?

I'm one who would rather have a separation of the brands on the apparel. As some have posted in this forum, there is Titleist branded apparel available in other international markets (not available for sale in the USA) and they don't mix the FJ and Titleist brands on that apparel.

They're owned by the same parent company... Acushnet... but they are separate companies. I believe this is due to Titleist focusing on being a strong club brand vs. apparel. Just my personal thoughts...

This is reserved for the players on tour and staff professionals. A few years ago you used to be able to get the Titleist script or tour patch on select items sold through the. Okey store.

Specifically what other gear items are you speaking off? Titleist has had the lead for the hats for both divisions for years. To get a Titleist script logo on FJ apparel, well that is something that is reserved for the tour and specific Titleist employees and these logos are sewn on thru the inhouse embroidery shop on a as need basis. Not mass produced. Club pros that are on staff use to get them, but according to one I worked with this past week he has not been able to get them for a few years. Employees of FJ cannot get that Titleist logo on their apparel. You might see some on eBay if you really want to purchase some. Like most items they find their way there and most are used.

Bill, I am the Tech Rep for the District Sales rep for the FJ accounts in green grass shops in that area. They would not be carrying them for sale to the public.
