After playing basketball growing up and club lacrosse in college, I was searching for a lifelong sport. During the 2020 COVID lockdown, The Last Dance premiered, and I got hooked on golf. I have been playing for 6 months now and am eager to share my recreational golf journey. Connect with me on Instagram @Texas.Golfer!

@Texas.Golfer, welcome to the group and to this wonderful game of golf. Feel free to share your golfing adventures and continue reading many of the threads in this forum. I'm sure many of your questions already have a thread dedicated to answering them.

As Ray Charles used to say on the Pepsi commercials in the 80's, "You got the right one, baby". Enjoy!

Does anyone use The Golfer's Buddy carry bag or the Stepkick Caddy by Bronwcyk for their wedges and putter near the greens? I've forgotten my wedges on multiple occasions and hate throwing my clubs on the ground next to me and wanted to hear others' opinions.

Nope. I just use a towel if there is dew on the ground or wet conditions. If carrying my clubs, just lean them on my Player 4 Carbon bag.

I have neither and I'm completely comfortable having my clubs touch the grassy areas of the course. As someone who usually walks and carries, I don't really need a place to put my clubs since my Players4 Carbon is right by my side. Also, I don't have iron covers which is a whole different subject matter.

Similar to Dale and Abdon - I am either walking or using my push cart and lean clubs up against my bag or push cart.

Welcome to Team Titleist! I picked up the game again during Covid and I am hooked. I love the chase of continuous improvement. Titleist clubs and equipment have opened up lower scores and a ton of fun.
