First of all, the TSR line-up is dead sexy. After some comparative analysis between my current driver (TSi2) and the TSRs . . . I found out that I am definitely getting my hands on one. Eventually.

Initially, I stuck with the 2, but as I moved along, found better numbers with the 3 and 4. My best results were with the 4. I even tried the other TSi models, and the results were the same. Now, I didn't get fit for my TSi2, so I learned a whole bunch. Seeing that I finally shot a 72 with self-administered fittings, I'm anxious to make sure my next set is suited to both my style and preferences.

Now, about balls . . . I haven't gotten any white boxes (nor do I ever suspect I will), I have been having a lot of fun testing the different balls in the Titleist line-up. I'm a big fan of the ProV1x, but I have to admit, I really started enjoying AVX and TourSoft. This weekend, I'm going to play the AVX on a full round and note the differences for me.

The new drivers are getting great reviews. Most have shown improvement over their previous driver and it pays to get a fitting for the right shaft and head. =)

Regarding the golf balls, I might suggest you follow the below post to see results from our TT members on the new Prov1 (388 Protos) and Prov1x (348 Protos) balls. We are amateurs, Titleist loyalists just like yourself and games similar to yours, I am sure. A number of us received white boxes at the TT Invitational in September. Sleeves were sent out nationwide to a great number of titleist loyalists for testing and results are coming in on this site.

The AVX is a great alternative to the V1 and V1x. Sounds like you're well on your way to figuring out what's going to work best for you.
