Hello to all that do not know me, but I have been here since the beginning of Team Titleist but I am not the great social media communicator, but I am here to tell you that the TT Pride can be with you everywhere, and I do live that. I have been to all seven TTI Events, and I have some really great TT items that I show proudly everyday and promote Titleist every time I play golf and then some.

Anyway, I have to tell the latest story about the TT Pride. I was very fortunate to travel and meet Dale V. at Cabot Links in Nova Scotia, Canada (thanks to our Canadian brothers for pre-Canada gift pack from TTI) and of all of the things that are delayed in travel it had to be my golf clubs. They were left in Atlanta, on the tarmac, in the rain, as I was able to find out after many hours on the phone with various airlines that were involved.

So on arrival at Cabot Dale and I checked in and started talking to the staff about the late delivery system, it was not looking good. But they did personally know the delivery man and offered to text him the next morning. Fantastic service from the staff. They loaned me (I thought rental but they did not charge me) a set of new Taylor Made Stealth bag, clubs and putter. After the first lost new proto ProV1 I knew that I have been living the good life for many years, I sure missed my clubs.

On day one on Cabot Links on hole 11 a maintenance cart drives up and there was my travel bag. So I very quickly open and unpacked, still wet from Georgia rain, but I didn't care. I jammed all of the items I didn't really need and those TM clubs back on the cart and we played on. How sweet it was. I may have lost another ball or two in the gale force winds (as it seemed), but I knew again just how much I loved Titleist and being a member of Team Titleist.

A special thanks to all of the staff at Cabot Links, they were the best.

So please, promote and be an Ambassador with pride and know that there is a large team of dear friends that have your back, and hang on to and enjoy all of the TT Swag and items received along the way. You too can be Mr. Team Titleist to all of your local friends.

Thanks to all at Team Titleist and the large family that they have created, you are the greatest.

So glad to hear you got your clubs just in the nick of time. What you experienced is one of the biggest fears I have when I'm traveling with my clubs. For that reason, I use a shipping company that specializes in golf club transportation. It gives me some peace of mind.

Great story and hope that many more of our members will share them on our site. This is what Team Titleist is all about. Cabot Cliffs is one of personal favorite venues worldwide. Todd and I played those courses in the fall before the Cliffs was open to the public. Such a beautiful walk and probably the last time I was able to walk a course of that caliber, before my pulmonologist grounded me. The day we played that short par three the wind was blowing about two clubs into our face. That is a resort that should be on everyone's bucket list. You just never know when you will run into Dale, world traveler. He is a standup guy. =)

Other than the for mentioned delay, it was a fantastic experience. My first International, so the travel is one thing, but the golf, the golf courses, staff, and dining were so good. I know now why Dale V. and Chris B. and many others travel to experience golf across the world, highly recommended.

Turns out Steve and I have common backgrounds in the defense business so lots of familiar stories when not talking golf. If you didn't see the pictures or videos from our trip, they can be found on the Facebook Team Titleist Group page or on my Instagram page under "golfingdv". Thanks again Steve for joining me on this trip. It will be hard to top but we can give it a try.

Thanks for sharing this story, Steve! The TT community is certainly a special one. Dale is a great TT member to travel with too. Dale and I are headed to Bandon Dunes in December!
