I’m building an at home golf net in my backyard. I live in north east US in PA. Winters get cold and the summers aren’t terrible but snow and whatnot. I’m not entire sure what to put under the mat or what type of mat to even get. If I put cement will my clubs overtime get damaged or is that all dependent on the type of mat I get? Any recommendations on type of mat would also be appreciated.

  2. As long as you have a good quality mat you should be good

The Net Return Pro is great and the monster mat from SafePlay golf is very durable but also gives good feedback and has nice cushioning to avoid injury.

There is a review site which reviews various golf mats. The link reviews abut 10 different mats.

Please do your homework carefully. Good Luck!

As Alex mentioned I have seen on line Return Pro and SafePlay as providing good mats.
