    Good day all,

I typically not watch a lot of golf this time of year, but so much hype about the Father Son tournament, I may watch a bit. It has been pretty fascinating how they have changed the tee box for Charlie Woods a couple of times in the few days before the tournament, that kid is going to be a player. Anybody else watching? Hoping for a strong Titleist showing, go JT!

We are watching. Actually this usually marks the "return to golf" phase for us. Season ends end Oct early Nov due to Weather and we usually take a pause, but this weekend show will be on for us getting us back in the mood!

Think anytime you can bring family into the game of golf, it is good for the game. Does it appeal to everyone, maybe yes and maybe no. I kinda like it. The on course antics and comradery. We get to see some of the players of the past, present and future. Fathers, mothers, daughters and sons. Charlie Wood, William McGee (Annika), John Daly II. Some day we might just see them on tour? I find it very entertaining and love it. Yeah JT and his dad making a strong showing. Sad to see Tiger and Charlie hobble down the fairways, as far as they can, playing thru pain. Thank goodness for carts in this format. This puts fun in the game of golf. =)

In case any of you missed it, Vijay and his son Qass won it. Congrats to the Singh family.
You wouldn't know it watching any of the sports channel highlights.

I noticed a big difference between the personalities of Charlie and Will. Will looks like he's having a ball out there, smiling and waving to the crowd. And make no mistake, Will is just as dedicated to the game as Charlie. Annika was telling Golf Channel that Will goes to the range every day and plays with Ian Poulter's and Henrick Stenson's sons, sometimes as much as 36 holes at Lake Nona, where they all live. Will also plays in events with U.S. Kids and Space Coast Junior Golf. Annika says Will became a "Golf Addict" on his own, without any push from her. I have to say that Charlie Woods was at my club, playing in a U.S. Kids tournament. I followed them for 3 or 4 holes ( Tiger was with him) and he could be a little surly when hitting a bad shot. To Tiger's credit he quickly corrected Charlie and told him "Just move on to the next shot."
  10. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Congrats to the Singhs. It is nice to see such a competitive tournament and the Singhs have been knocking on the door for a while.

On a side note, I hope noone was offended by me calling it the Father Son tournament, that seems to be a dated term and now it is just the PNC Tournament...
