The TSRs are not only forgiving and consistent, the TSRs are long hitters too. Titleist definitely raised the bar with the TSR line. Now TM, cally and the others are trying to play catch up with their next lines of drivers and fairways. One thing stands out: what the other companies needed to use carbon for, Titleist did it with only titanium.

There was no difference from the TS to the TSI ,I had a few swings with the TSR and it was very good but I didn’t have any equipment set up…so can I really expect more distance???

I dont have one in my bag but from testing I did see a smaller dispersion both in distance across the face and accuracy. I also noticed a jump in distance of about 5-8yrds when comparing TSI2 to TSR2

Going from the TSi to the TSR, what impresses me the most is how tight the dispersion is with the TSR. During my fitting, the TSR consistently showed a tighter dispersion and that has translated in more fairways hit and more predictability.

I currently have the tsi3 in the bag and im really tempted to go for a tsr fitting

  6. I'm also noticing the tighter dispersion, and that's going from a TS2 to a TSR4 which in theory should be less forgiving, but it just wants to go straight. Oh and I've gained about 10 yards, so that's nice too!

I also had a tighter dispersion which is great. Including hitting it longer is a game changer. Well Done.
  8. I've found straighter and longer tee shots after having the TSR2 in my bag. i've really found more confidence with this driver. Thank you Titleist!
  9. Changed from Stealth driver to tsr2 last month - much tighter dispersion

I went from Tsi2 to the TsR2 and I did see a little more distance also. I can't wait for the fairway wood to show up.

These drivers look so good! Seem to be performing better too!
  13. I currently use a cally that I bought used and unfitted. I went to a Titleist TSR fitting in December and after dialing in the TSR2, compared to the cally, the TSR2 was getting me 4 MPH more ball speed, 500 RPM less spin, 11.7 more yards carry, and 15.2 more yards total. My average smash factor also went from 1.39 to 1.47. The dispersion was also much tighter.

Needless to say, I ordered the TSR2. First time spending money on a new driver and it should be here any day. Can't wait!

Every club in my bag is a Titleist except driver. Been rocking the epic flash for a couple years now. Getting fit for a TSR at some point this year is one of my golf goals! The reviews I keep seeing about this club are awesome and I can't wait to try one out
  15. You will love it. Best driver I have ever played with.

I got fitted for my TSR3 driver at 2nd Swing in Minnetonka MN by Larry Bobka. In all of my years of playing golf, I've never seen 170 ball speed until I got fitted for the TSR3 driver.

I am very happy about that. I've played many other brands and coming back to Titleist is home for me.
  18. Just got the new tsr 2 going to game it for the first time today and I’m super excited. Coming from a stealth I found this club to be much much more forgiving on off center hits plus added about 8 yards even on a bad strike of the ball.

I have found that the new driver has a much tighter dispersion pattern especially on mishits, the ball seems to jump off the face more and fly forever. Equally excited by the fairway woods, easy to hit and again fly long and straight.
  20. Have played Titleist drivers for many, many years and my TSR2 is the best one so far. I traded out my TSI 1 which might have been the worst Titleist head I’ve ever played with. I’m 75 yrs old and only have about 83 mph swing speed but I’ve picked up about 10 yds and better ball flight with less spin. Ball feels like it is sitting on the club face longer and I can really feel it compressing.

I just bought the TSR3 Driver 3 Wood and 5 Wood I have been playing Titelist Woods and Irons all my life and I think TSR3 are the best I’ve ever had I hit it 10 yards farther then my TSI3 Driver and much straighter they look awesome also. I buy whatever Titelist comes out with every two years irons to but I think Titelist has the best Driver I’ve ever had can’t say enough about the TSR Driver if your reading this I highly recommend the TSR Woods you will be glad you did.

TSR3 is so good. Titleist did a great job in not messing with the look at address. It was a seamless transition from tsi3. I was got for tsi when they first released and the same two years later with tsr. When compared apples to apples I was just 7 yards longer with tsr. But when the ventus blue 6x went in that was the game change.

I love my TSR2 driver, today I hit a new PB on the simulator 318 yards 158 ball speed, I’ve no seen numbers like that before ever in all my years playing golf. ️‍♂️

Coming from the TS2 & TSi2 head, I was surprised when Adam Lash from the Dormie Network fit me into the TSR3 head at Ballyhack. It really has cut down on the spin, so my misses are not off the map anymore, they are in play. When it's hit on the screws, you can just feel it jump off the face ... so it's long as well. On good days after I've loosened up, I easily see 3 - 4mph increase in ball speed. When the ball stays in play & you can hit one less club into the green .... I think that's a win win in my book! Well done Titleist! Where could you possibly go from here?
Also, a quick shoutout to Allan Blocker here at Titleist for hooking me up with the awesome driver! As well as Wade Whitehead for putting together the event last year at Ballyhack! I can't wait for another at that amazing course. The Dormie Network really knows how to treat their guests, that's for sure.
