I guess even after a year of being seen wearing FootJoys and explaining that the other manufacturer hasn't made one that fits better since his major injury, Tiger is seen wearing FJs at the Genesis Invitational.

I guess its arguable that Tiger may not be the other manufacturer primary brand ambassador but come on, you had over a year to design something that the GOAT can wear during competitive rounds and he's still wearing FJs. I guess that says something about FootJoys...when they're good, they're good.

He reveled an interesting fact during Thursday's press conference. He said they have had to adjust shoe sizes since the accident to accommodate for both swelling and for the socks and taping of the foot. He probably has up to two full sizes in the right shoe with him this week, and every week. I understand it perfectly. I broke my ring finger on my left hand about 10 years ago. I went through 3 different ring sizes for a couple of years and always wore tape on that knuckle while playing for at least 5 years. I believe his shoe company does not see a market for them to produce a shoe in multiple sizes for his situation and his style preference. They are making all their money on those shoes Kegan is wearing.

If you need support, which I do, there's nothing better than FJ Premier Series.

Those Premieres are really good shoes and I love my white/white Packard's, a classic look but very lightweight and stable.

Taken from a post in March of "last year" and and Tiger is still wearing FootJoys.

QUOTE: "Woods said he is a “game-time decision” as to whether he will tee it up on Thursday at Augusta, though he was planning a second straight day of practice on Monday. The five-time Masters champ will meet with the media on Tuesday.

It therefore is unsurprising he would need the footwear that provides him with the most support, and "FootJoy is apparently ahead of swoosh in that regard".

swoosh issued a statement addressing the matter. “Like golf fans around the world, we are delighted to see Tiger back on the course. He is an incredible athlete, and it is phenomenal to see him returning to the game at this level,” the company told ESPN’s Michael Collins. “His story continues to transcend sport and inspire us all. As he continues his return, we will work with him to meet his new needs.”"

Needless to say swoosh has not been able to meet his new needs when it comes to shoes since last year's Masters?
    Kudos, FJ, simply the best.

I'm with you Chuck. I wasn't always a fan of white on white. I was a big fan of black or tan saddles but the Packard white on white is the best looking shoe out there..............and on top of that the traditional spike pattern and support are fantastic.

I have the Black Packard and love them!!! I wanted a white show as well and I regret that I didn't purchase the white/white Packard :( instead I purchased the all white Tarlow. I love the feel, but the more I look at them the more I wish I had gone with the Packard. Don't get me wrong, the Tarlow is a classic style but I just like the sleek look of the Packard better!!! Both are super comfortable and stable!

I recall seeing photos of Tiger from high school and college and he was wearing the Footjoys. it does seem strange to me that swoosh, with all of its resources hasn't come up with a shoe that Tiger likes.

That is a big statement that Tiger is wearing FJ's. Swoosh must be feeling some sort of way.

Interesting fact that Tiger Woods won the first three legs of the Tiger Slam with Titleist equipment. Then swoosh soaked a boat load of $$$$$ in equipment and Tiger. He did use their golf ball during the Tiger Slam. $$$$$ talk.

The ball he used was a Bridgestone with a swoosh logo.

I have been wearing Footjoy shoes for over 40 years. Take them out of the box and put them in play they are the best. Glad to see Tiger wearing Footjoys.

You come to expect a good pair of shoes straight from opening the box

I was lucky enough to go to the Masters in 2022 and saw him on Monday and Thursday while there. One thing I noticed on Thursday was that he was wearing metal spikes in his FJs. Not sure if this contributes to why his apparel company has chosen not to develop or more rigid shoe, in that they don't have the necessary manufacturing equipment to develop the both the rigidity needed as well housings for metal spikes.

Given their outsourcing history back when they initially made balls and equipment, I'm a little surprised they don't sub-contract with a company that does have those capabilities for a TW shoe.
