Was thinking about signing up to check it out and was just wondering what people thought of it who have it.

    Which subscription do you have?

  2. The Golfer's Journal is really a unique publication. It's well written, with interesting stories, beautiful pictures; overall, a "magazine" that my wife is fine with sitting on the coffee table! If you'd be interested in reading about the life of a greenskeeper, a road trip through Scotland to find amazing 9-hole courses or see some old photos with a short article about Michael Jordon playing miniature golf in the early 1980s then this is for you.

I signed up for the Premium Membership as the "gifts" cover the extra cost over the basic. I'm not interested in the digital only as I want the physical copy.

As a member, you are then also included in their "Broken Tee Society" which gives you access to events hosted around the country. Last year, they hosted an event at my club and I was able to meet some of the people responsible for the publication...very cool people and they ran an amazing event.

If you are interested, here is a link to sign up: www.golfersjournal.com/.../c3250630001
(Full disclosure, I do get credit for anyone who uses this link as a "referral")

Happy to answer any additional questions...

I really enjoy it. Very different from other golf periodicals and their events, like the Broken Tee Two-Man, are very well run.

I have been a subscriber of TGJ since the first issue. It’s a great magazine and worth the money. No subscriber throws away the magazine, they’re all keepers you’ll wNt to read more than once. Titleist and Scotty are both sponsors.

I concur with all of the positive reviews. The publication is first-rate, they are continually pushing out great content, and seem to always be investing back in their members. If you like the community of Team Titleist, you’ll find community with TGJ as well. I have to admit, I’m not a fan of the Discord server (find it hard to follow), but am super interested to see how the Index Experiment plays out over the year.

I subscribed to GJ for the first year or two and wish I never would have let it lapse. Great content and well done. I think I will be subscribing again.

It’s more than a magazine. Very well written stories about all aspects of golf.
There is a great read about Barney Adams.
Yes that Adams. “Weekend at Barney’s “

    I’d recommend a subscription.
