First swing with my new TSR driver using a white wooden tee left a white mark on the face that will not come off with a damp clothe. Never use plastic tees for this exact reason. Tee box was in perfect shape (e.g. no stones, sand, etc.). Concerned to try anything else on face fearing permanent damage. Any suggestions on how best to remove this mark? Thanks in advance.

Finger nail polish (acetone) was mentioned on the TT TSR zoom call last night.

Wet the clubface down and use one of those white pen erasers.

This one has been discussed a lot on these forums, so you're sure to get a lot of suggestions. I personally use the Mr. Clean sponges. A little water and a little rubbing, and they disappear without affecting the finish.

    Use black tees.

I hear nail polish remover works, as does the Mr. Clean magic eraser.

I had the same thing happen to me but it will fade away with some time. No worries!

It should wear off eventually. I use natural unpainted tees now because I had the same thing happen to one of my clubs a long time ago. Mine wore off after a while but I can't remember how long it actually took.

I always use Pride Performance Plastic tees and have used them for years and have no issues with my driver. Like the way they set up and the way the ball pops of the tee. Never had a mark. I white short wooden tees with irons and hybrids (tee box) and yes they do mark the clubs. I simply clean them with water and a thick caddy towel. They come right off. Sometimes it might take a little elbow geese. If it is on the face, remember you are hitting a golf ball and you are hitting it with more force than you can apply with a towel. Do not use a brush!!!!!
  12. I have been using these since they came out in 2005. I have never had a mark on my driver face or sole. I have not played yet since receiving my TSR a couple of days ago. I'm not expecting any marks.

  13. To remove it may need a bit more than the soft cloth. Try getting it wet, then using a fingernail to scrape it away, or a firm nylon brush while keeping it wet. It will take some effort.

Titleist posted video on YouTube about a month ago where JT's Driver has them on there. Just go on YouTube and search "Caddie POV: What's in Justin Thomas' Titleist Bag" Bones mentions it at 1:20 in the video. I don't know if they are difficult to remove, or it just doesn't bother him.

I use plastic tees for 2 reasons. One: Durability: I can easily play a entire round without breaking one, and 2: no marks left behind.

Only ever use wooden tees as plastic ones do cause damage to the course

No worries. Any automotive polish or cleaner wax will remove the marks safely. No danger of damaging the finish. I use Meguiars Scratch X. Cheap, too. Only about $5. Swing away!

Its a battle scar of a warrior. It tells you where you are hitting the face past and present. darker spot tells you the latest area.

If you're hitting it dead center in bottom middle then I'd worry about it, then erase it.

Rubbing alcohol takes care of Sharpie transfer and tee marks.

I used toothpaste on sky marks and it worked well, might work for tee marks too

Cleaning and Care for Titleist Golf Clubs
Titleist drivers, woods, hybrids, irons and wedges can be cleaned with mild soap and water and then dried with a soft cotton cloth. We recommend your golf clubs and headcover be completely dry before storage. Storing golf clubs in wet headcovers can lead to rust and corrosion and may not be covered by the warranty.
