Titleist, I'm a little perplexed. Been a Titleist fan for decades and only when a past pro ruined his account and couldn't get us Titleist did I miss. Everything I own is Titleist. But, I don't understand one thing. I was unable to place my order as usual through my local pro as I've done for years (except when it was not offered during covid) because he had "reached his limit". OK, supply issues again or still I figured. I thought I was then out of luck, but found I could place the order myself online through Titleist directly. So obviously not a supply issue. While I'm happy I was able to take advantage of the deal, I was disappointed I wasn't able to support my local pro and the local Titleist rep too. They've always been good to me so I support them. We've answered questions to new TT members for years who wanted to order something directly from Titleist that this wasn't an option to visit their local pro or authorized Titleist dealer. But now it seems that's changing? I've always been a shop the small local business guy, as that guy has his roots locally, knows the local folks and our kids know his. Would hate to see all this changing, but hey maybe I'm out of touch too.

Hopefully you were able to purchase through Titleist directly. I'm sure there was a reason Titleist went this route with the Loyalty Program and we'll probably not know the exact reason(s).

For me, I knew about the deal from my local head pro and he expressed that they were given a limited number. I was able to get on the list and I'm waiting for mine as I added some customization to my order.

I believe you addressed the root cause, the COVID impacts on production and supply. I am sure you still realize, while better, the issues have not completely gone away. The demand on production resulted in no 4 For 3 offer last year and thank goodness, the supply issues were partly resolved enough for them to add a limited run on the 4 For 3 offer this year. Pretty impressive given this is the year of the new ball release so demand is high even without the deal. Local pro shops, big box stores, and Titleist Direct, all had access to the limited 4 For 3 deal. I would say that constitutes supporting all areas of the market base. Thank you Titleist for running the deal again this year.
  4. Like uou I go to my pro to buy stuff and give them business but unfortunately the world is changing

Cannot in my opinion beat service face to face
  5. You guys in the USA are lucky, we are still waiting for the offer to be released in the UK

Every dealer had quota limits on packages based on either the last buy 3 deal or ball sales for 2022. The number appears to be a little under previous sales.

You can try other pro shops and full line retailers to see if they still have slots. With the increase in sales since COVID, Titleist has been running extra shifts to keep up with the wave. At the end of 2021 the demand and lockdowns essentially drained inventory to zero.

There were limits set on the accounts that were able to offer this to the members. I happy you found that you could order directly from Titleist.

I know that our club in Florida could not offer this to the members, but our club in New England could.

I purchased mine thru my local Titleist account and their quota was based on the previous event. Their quota was two orders less. Not much of a reduction and they did not complain. They told me in advance that there would be a limit and I was there on the 15th to ensure that I got my order in on time. It arrived today, fourteen days later. I really appreciate Titleist making the program available. Some courses do not really promote the four for three, and only order for their members when asked about it. Was a limited program, as advertised. It ended Monday, March 27th.

Titleist accounts did have a limit imposed based upon prior (2021) orders. But, the truth behind the reductions is that, like many good things, there are some people who have spoiled it for others by trying to work around the limit of 1 order per person. By trying to take extra advantage, not only does it put a stress on the supply but also reduces profits for the vendors.

Let's all be happy we can place one order, and please limit yourself to one order (no second orders submitted by the spouse!).
