The strap is thin and it broke, the strap fell into a pocket and my nice metal medallion is gone forever. No one turned it in so I hope they end up in a fiery destination.

  2. That sucks!!

Really sorry to hear that, Dave. Are you referring to the TT Ambassador bag tags that were released last year or the metal chrome with the TT logo on it from a number of years ago? I have a number of the bag tags from over the years and hard to keep up from plastic to the current. I put a leather strap on my chrome one years ago and only use the current rubber bag tags on my bags now, for fear of those two collectables disappearing. It is a shame to loose one of those special bag tags. I feel your pain and we earned those. Irreplaceable.

Condolences for your loss. Have you got a different one to replace it with?
  8. Sad to hear someone kept it

Is the strap you're talking about the leather like material? If so, I have noticed that material will wear out over time especially when exposed to the elements. I like the rubber disc TT tag as the carabiner clip works well. Hopefully someone turns it in.

At least your strap broke and wasn't cut like mine last season! Some people should face the real fiery destination where golf is never allowed!

Bummer. I keep my original hard plastic and my Ambassador tags in the house and only carry a regular TT bag tag out in public. Sorry for your loss. I did appropriately observe a minute of silence on your behalf.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will turn up. Im so nervous of the same thing happening to me I was actually thinking of using a stainless steel wire keychain to secure it to my bag.

If you happen to get another, using military -550 cord is an great option.. Good luck!

No just from years of dangling on my golf cart.

I heard that stealing or not turning in a TT bag tag that isn’t your own is a lifetime of bad luck on the golf course. Maybe whoever found it and held on to it will notice their lack of luck on the course and will turn it back in.

I use small D-rings on all my Tags and towels. Lowe's, Home Depot or hardware stores carry them.

When they start pulling those tap-ins 6 inches to the left they will realize the golf gods demand payment for golf theft.
