    Hey Team Titleist,

In case you missed it, Tom Coyne, our good friend and fellow Team Titleist member (who also happens to be a New York Times bestselling author and the senior editor at The Golfer's Journal) just announced his latest golf adventure and he wanted to share it with all of us. Check out the video above and the note below from Tom to get the inside scoop on what he has cooking.

    A Note from Tom:

So I figured out a way to make all my golf dreams and nightmares come true at once--buy a golf course!  In my next book, A Course Called Home, I'll be chronicling my adventures as a course operator/hopeful owner of Sullivan County Golf Club in Liberty, NY -- it's Catskills golf in its most natural, wonderful state.

This video here explains the project, so thanks for giving it a look.  And if you'd like to be a part of the adventure, please consider picking up some merch or perhaps joining as a nonresident member (only $400 for the year!) and help us save a public golden age nine-holer that I hope you will have a chance to visit--this year, or if this all goes well, in the many years to come.

Thank you for your time and your support.  Golf soon!

I simply love this story, and this effort, of Tom's; just as I enjoy the spirit Tom puts into all his endeavors. It's the spirit I feel everytime I strap on the golf shoes and I so want to do more than just live vicariously through the stories Tom shares.

I bought a hat and a shirt. I hope to make the trip. I can tell you that if Tom organized a TT trip (or BTS) to spend a couple days at the Arnold House, and share the promise of the Sullivan County Golf Club, I would do my level best to be first in line to share that experience!

What a great story! I love "A Course Called America" And I've read it several times since the book was gifted to me.
Sullivan County GC looks like a time capsule. What a cool and worthy project. All the best to the Tom and the team. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

I love it. If I am ever in the area (possibly playing Bethpage Black) I would make the trek up to check it out!

Tom’s story is already a very interesting one. His book, A Course Called America, was so good and being able to play all over the USA would be my dream. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter of his life takes him. I hope it’s a successful project and it would be really cool to see the course someday if I’m ever in the area. Good luck, Tom!

Adding Sullivan County Golf Club to my bucket list! Can’t wait to read the book too.
  12. Great news. I'm thrilled to hear that Tom is embarking on a new golf adventure, and the idea of writing a book about it sounds exciting. I agree that his previous book, A Course Called America, was truly exceptional. I came across it when I was preparing a big research project for https://ca.edubirdie.com/ where I help students after I leave my teaching position. Now I can't wait to see where his next chapter takes him and how he overcomes challenges and achieves new victories. I wish him luck, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit the field someday if I happen to be in the area.

Thank you for posting the video.

    Tom-

Way to go. This is a great story and adventure. My memories of the early days of Ash taking over Goat Hill Park came rushing back to me while watching the video.
If you decide to host a TT event I will do what I can to make that outing.

Nice logo. I just bought a hat and magnet.

Good luck and keep us posted.
