After all of the tee shots are sent flying tomorrow and the final putt falls on day one of the 2023 U.S. Open at LACC, there is one thing that an overwhelming majority of all golf balls being played will have in common... they will have the Titleist script.

And this year will mark the 75th consecutive year that Titleist has earned the trust of the majority of the players in the field and once again will be the #1 ball played at the U.S. Open.

A pretty amazing milestone if you ask me.

Good luck to all of Team Titleist this week!

Love this. This is why I play Titleist. Not so much about the US Open but the consideration they give us, the little guys, in their corporate plan.

Thanks for making me feel so young. I have only been playing them for about 45 years now.

I'm right there with ya. Started with the Professional way back when ;)

Tour Balata 90's and DT's. I feel like I was already an old man by the time the Professionals came around. At least I can say I never played a Gutta-Percha ball. :)

I wouldn’t play any other ball! Titleist is the best. I have played my best golf and I owe it to the confidence I have in my equipment.

Honestly, I've tried the others, not with switching in mind, but just a few holes to test them out. As a guy that has hovered around scratch for a few decades, and a good ball-striker, I'll tell you some of the "others" make a very good ball, but not "through the bag" good. The feel around the short wedges/putter is why Titleist is #1. That's purely my opinion.

This is quite impressive! Heres to another 75!

It's the consistency for me!!! Shot to shot, hole to hole, round to round, season to season. It's not a 75 year streak, but my Titleist ball play began with my HS career in 1979 and a DT Titleist and have been playing them ever since - 44 years.
