We are excited to continue our partnership with the National High School Golf Association and their annual National Invitational, which recently wrapped up the other week with two absolutely electric finishes. Both the boy's and girl's individual winners eagled the 18th holes in their final rounds to win their individual competitions by one stroke.

If you're not familiar with this event, The National Invitational was first held in 2019 at Walt Disney World Resort with 300 boys and girls competing representing 43 states. The event has grown to a field of over 500 of the top high school golfers from nearly all 50 states over the past four years — and for the past three years, the event has been held at Pinehurst.

However, for the first time, the 2023 High School Golf National Invitational came to the brand new PGA Frisco campus where players braved the Texas heat and took on Fields Ranch - East, Fields Ranch - West, The Tribute Golf Links (boys) and Old American (girls). The invite-only tournament field was made up of the top high school golfers from across the country and recognized by The World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Team Titleist was on-site for both the boys and girls events throughout the two weeks of competition and it was an awesome experience for everyone involved. We helped all players get ready for their rounds by providing golf ball fittings while our friends at FootJoy also treated players to their new foot scan experience to help find the perfect fitting shoes. There was also a Titleist equipment experience set up inside where players could take our latest equipment for a test spin and participate in putting and chipping contests.

As for the tee gifts, every player walked away with a solid care package full of Titleist and FootJoy swag, and the winning teams, along with the individual winners, took home a special edition Titleist golf bag featuring the National Invitational logo.

    Highlights From the Invitational

    • Rivers Academy from Georgia successfully defended its title and are your 2023 Boys High School Golf National Invitational Champions with an impressive three-day total of 879.
    • The winning boy's individual, who was also a part of the winning team from Rivers Academy in Georgia, eagled his finishing hole at Fields Ranch East to win by one shot and put up a three-day total of 211 (-5).
    • The 2023 Girls High School Golf National Invitational Champions are from Reagan High School in Texas with a three-day total of 920, winning by an impressive 35 shots.
    • The winning girl's individual from Lambert High School in Georgia recorded a 60 foot chip-in eagle on the finishing hole at Fields Ranch East to win by one shot and post a three-day total of 209 (-6).

Make sure you check out the NHSGA website to learn more and view the full results from both the girls and boys events. We can't tell you how grateful we are to have the opportunity to help them enrich the high school golf experience!

The Beth Daniel Junior Azalea Tournament at the Country Club of Charleston, just finished their annual tournament this week and sorry to see that none of our South Carolina high schoolers placed this year. Would love to see the rest of the field. We have some pretty good juniors here in SC and as a member of the CGA and SCGA, do look for them in the events to see how they are doing. I think that it is outstanding that Titleist is the major sponsor for this event and our upcoming amateurs. Kudos. Great job Zack. =) =) =) =) =)
