This happens from time to time with all drivers with the faces being as thin as they are. The warranty typically will have it replaced as long as it occurred through normal play conditions.

Is it really a TS3 or a TSR3? If a TS3, it is likely very used as that model was several generations ago. there is no way to know how much previous stress was caused by off-center hits, hard range balls, or other possible problems. There will be no support for that model from Titleist. If it is a TSR3, go to where you purchased it and discuss your warranty options. If it is a TS3 and you need to get a replacement there are quite a few second hand ones available at a reasonable price but upgrading to the latest from Titleist will give you a better product and it will now be covered by their warranty.

Regardless of OEM, modern drivers with thin faces and composite in the body are prone to cracking. One of my buddies stays with Callie drivers. Even though he has cracked 3 and only one replaced on warranty. At 2.5 years, it is unlikely that Titleist (or any OEM) will conclude that it is a manufacturing defect covered for the first year.
Touring their factory they take time to show their testing of new products to meet or exceed stress testing robotically hitting thousands of balls. The only alternative is to find a full metal driver like a 909 D2. But even Stricker cracked his after 4-5 years.

I have had this happen before. I am still playing TS3 but have seen this happen on some of the TS models. The ATI face Titleist brought out with the next generation TSi, was in reflection of the wanting to continue pushing speed. The stronger ATI titanium face was needed since ball speeds were increasing exponentially. ATI has continued on the TSR range and why I’ve seen it as pretty much the ball speed king of 2023.

30 months has to be a type-O! Its only been out for a year! Anyway, if what you describe is happening you are gonna need to take it to the shop where you bought it and they will contact a Titleist representative. Im sure they will be good about replacing it, if the damage is consistent with playing golf. They have taken care of myself when i have had equipment issues and many others will say the same.

No type-O, Eric. That model according to Titleist "previous models", listed below. Always good to look out for one another. Hope they will help him out but, way out of warranty.

Thanks for your comments guys. The crack is in the middle of the face, close to the top.
Looks like it will have to be another driver head. Aiming for a TS3i. Hope this will last longer!!
