Great video. I always draw a line on my ball and line it up for my putts. Made me feel like if I got it on the line it was one less thing to think about. Going to be ordering some the new balls with the alignment now to try out.

Nancy Lopez once pointed out that for a right handed golfer when they have a left to right putt and have determined the line for the putt, when they get over the ball because of the contour of the ground, they feel that the putt is going to break more than they saw from behind but that is an illusion. So I figured out a way to deal with this: using a line on the ball point it on the line you want to start the putt on but before you actually make your stroke or even before you put the ball down, turn the ball counter clockwise a few degrees so the line is the same but it is turned toward you a bit. Now when you look down at the ball you will not feel that it is not lined far enough to the left and you will feel comfortable starting your putt on that line.

It’s good to know that Fax and I have this in common. Now if I could be only one millionth of the putter he is. I am thrilled to know that Titleist is offering this. It’s always been frustrating when my Sharpie drawn line is sitting at impact location.

I’m a very visual person so I’ve always used a line the same way Brad uses it. Seeing that line on my start line gives me more confidence when standing over a putt. I love that the line on your ball is now an option. Thanks Titleist!

I have been doing since late 90's. It helps me a lot. Once I put it on start line all I have to think is speed. Coming from one of the best putters of all time Brad Faxon I thank everybody should try it. Like Brad said you need to practice it!!!

I've always had a difficulty lining up a putt visually. I've never been comfortable with a blade as a result. I've experimented with mallets for a longer line. Even to the point of considering a 2 ball putter. Besides being a LH golfer, I am also left eye dominant. Whether you should putt with the same or opposite putter to your dominant eye is not well established. In my case, putting RH so that I can see my putting line works with less head movement.

My current setup includes extending the side mark stamping with a felt tip and using a RH Cameron and Crown. The 90 degree cross just makes it easier to validate what I see for a line and how I have the ball lined up for what line I want to use. Having taken lessons LH, it was easy to go RH with lead hand low. It's nice to have the option to have the line drawn by Titleist but having done it for years and killing time in retirement, probably won't take advantage.

The sad part of the story is the C&C was purchased for my wife close to 10 years ago. She never liked it, stopped playing golf 4 years ago, and the putter had languished in a corner for the better part of a decade. The 3 putters I have bought and sold in search of.. were't necessary if I had claimed squatter's rights to it years ago.

If I ever get good at reading greens...
