I haven't had the chance to play in MI. I've played golf in Wisconsin in October and besides the chilly mornings, the scenery and playing conditions were wonderful. Hopefully, the weather is favorable a little longer before things shut down for the winter. Enjoy!

Man, that fall wind hits a little different though!

Having grown up in the mitten, I joke that there is a window of about June 15th-16th each year of good weather. And even that isn't guaranteed.

But I do remember playing my fair share of fall golf when I still lived there. On the plus side, the grass doesn't go dormant like it does here in GA. What I refer to as "hay season" once the Bermuda goes dormant usually toward the first week of November, it's brown until mid-April.

Great time to be out there. Lose balls under leaves, no one but real diehards and lost of bourbon

Fall golf is awesome.
The crisp cool air, the blue skies dry weather and green fairways.
We get aerated greens, but not everything can be perfect.
Fall gold is my favorite, I finally get to wear sweaters to golf.

I’m in Michigan as well and I’m not ready to put the clubs away yet.

Hete is my Sunday morning at the range here in southeast Michigan.

One last time here is my trip to the range.

Its only October, the golf in Michigan is still awesome. Yep, you'll lose a ball in the fallen leaves but Titleist makes them all day and you will purchase another 4 for 3 in the spring. Haha! With the base gear (clothing) that is available now, the golf is comfortable and the view/colors are fantastic. Plus the course isn't backed up with a bunch of people. Played yesterday, will play this weekend, and have at least 4 more rounds scheduled right through the end of the month. Fall golf is great golf.

Southeast Mi is having a heat wave right now lol.. we just golf friday and was good weather !

I was fortunate to play some fantastic golf courses in the Shanty Creek area. It was over twenty years ago, but will never forget it being one of my favorite golf experiences.

Well, looks like we may have the opportunity to golf on Christmas here in Southeast Michigan...! Now we just need the big guy to deliver some new clubs under the tree so we have an excuse to get out there...
