    Had a couple of minutes at work this morning and curiosity got the best of me so I went to the WMO website and found this. wmphoenixopen.com/.../ Only about a month and a half to go.

    Our local news just did a story on it this morning with a reporter on site. The big crane was working hard and it showed even much more progress than you see in your pictures. The stands around the tee box were almost complete and a lot around the green were already started. Should be pretty complete by the end of November for the TTI. Sadly though, there will not be thousands there to throw their beer cans when I make my ace. :)

    Maybe we can save a few for you Dale, so you want be disappointed. I might drum up a few soda cans, do not drink beer from a can. Ruins the taste. Has to be on tap or in a bottle. Make the HIO and there will be 100 of us to celebrate with you. ha..ha...ha..ha... Will be fun to hit inside the 16th just like the pros, fans or no fans.

    Well we will have some interesting noise in the par three enclosure with all that building going on, maybe? Then on the short par four 17, which they say is driveable for some, more noise? Hopefully they will not be working the day we play. Want an opportunity for the HIO but reaching the par four, NOT in my bag. Chris the big gun from Ohio, maybe. Just looked at the score card and if I play the 5400+ tees, I just might make it with a little wind. =) Hakuna matata. Let's have some fun.

    It’s going to be pretty epic playing the 16th with the stands up! Like Dale said, too bad there won’t be a ton of fans there watching to hype it up for us.

    I can't wait. Nice to see the stands being built. Maybe Titleist can get them to pipe some fan noise through some speakers and put some AI fans up there :).
