  1. Finally crossed into single digit territory!

Knocked 2.5 strokes off my index this season and now play off a 9.. but the funny thing is I have not broken 80 in over 20 years. I’ve shot 80 on the number several times in the last few weeks but can’t get over that hump. I thought getting to a 9 would feel better but getting there without a round in the 70s leaves me feeling like I have more work to do.

Playing golf is weird like that...we always can see room for improvement. In the meantime, celebrate this accomplishment and check out the Titleist.com Instruction tab for excellent tips to help bring your hdcp down even further.

Congratulations. Great improvement. Hope to be in that boat with you soon. Got my eye on a 15 over the next few months with a few tweaks here and there and getting acquainted with my new gear. Golf is such a forgiving unforgiving fun game. =)

Thats an achievement to be proud (single digit handicap) regardless of not scoring in the 70s!

Im hovering around 14-15 and trending down, my goal is single digits by next summer, with 2-3 rounds a week, and some swing coaching i think its totally doable.

I was a 13 and just started working on my game alot. I am now at a 7. The weird thing about it is I have medical conditions now like PTSD and early Dementia and I am playing the best golf of my life. A couple of weeks ago I shot 67.
  6. Congratulations, a nine with no 70's rounds shows a lot of consistency scoring in the low 80's. Keep working, especially on the short game and another 2.5 may come your way.
