  1. Hi folks, I have x2 questions for you all to lay your wisdom upon:

    1. How do I get a TT bag tag, never mind the other goodies that periodically appear? I’ve been a member for years now.

    2. Have used golf insurance in the past. As a hacker I’m likely the guy who will need it. Just getting back into playing after a 4 year layoff (long story) and wondering, if you all use it, who you’d recommend. I usually went with Golf Care but have tried one or two others in the past. Never had to claim but ya never know…

As for the first question, bag tags are usually given within a welcome package at an event. Go to an event. Having only 6 posts and telling us you have been a member for years but have not played golf for 4 years does not really sound like an active Team Titleist member. You also need to have your full profile done as tags and other items are sent within geographical areas so identifying yourself to your local community is important. On the second question, I have never used golf club insurance. Titleist warranty on new items and lower cost of used items seems to negate the risk over paying for something I probably would never use. If they are anything like travel insurance, the coverage clauses and work to get a claim paid would not appeal to me.

    1. It’s a black box on the random selection for the thousands of TT members. Profile completion and contributors to social media are part of the algorithm. Tiered events generally included one in the participation bag.
    2. Insurance plans I have seen depreciate the value. Along with co-pay minimums, not much reimbursement. If I played a course with homes with thousands of dollars in glass walls I might think of joining. But I don’t.

I'm not familiar with the process regarding TT bag tags for those in the UK. In the USA, TT bag tags are randomly sent to those who have completed their online Titleist profile.

For your second question, I'm not familiar with golf insurance. I've played golf for over 25 years, and I don't know any golfer who has golf insurance. Why would you need the insurance?...asking because I'm genuinely curious.

Homeowners insurance, not a specific golf policy for my golf equipment.
