    Lethbridge,

I was fitted for the GT 2. The club is amazing. Can’t wait to receive it.

Same here. Fully expecting to go from TSR3 to Gt3 but the GT2 was just too good.
  4. I had the chance to hit my new GT3 today absolutely loved it! More distance, better sound and it has a smoother feel overall.

Interesting I went from Cobra LTDX-LS to GT4. I couldn't click with the GT2. GT3 was really good but GT4 provided me with the maximum distance and dispersion
  6. I was invited for a one on one fitting/test session for the new GT drivers a couple of weeks ago at Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, BC.

I have had a TSi3 10 degree in the bag for the last four years and was initially skeptical if there would be much benefit for me to upgrade to a new driver.
I tested both the GT2 & GT3 models through various recommended lofts, shafts, hossel and weight settings and found an increase in flight trajectory, an average 9 yard gain in distance and a much tighter dispersion. Both drivers were great, but I had more comfort and better results for my swing with the GT3 model. Overall, the experience with my Titleist fitter Tom C. was fantastic and I would recommend giving the new GT driver technology a try.
  7. My Club has a Team Titleist Day on the 4th Sept which i have managed to get on at Saunton GC, can't wait ti test out the new GT driver.

Another video and more information to raise my anticipation level for my fitting later this year.

    Thank you for the video.

The wait will be totally worth it. I just received my GT4 yesterday and went and played 18-holes with it today.
It took me a few swings to get a feel for the driver, but the results are substantial.
Your wait will be truly rewarded!

Scott, I was also fitted for the GT2 driver and felt it was better than my current gamer!
  12. It's going to be hard to get the TSR2 driver out of my hands. I don't even want to try this GT! lol
  13. What was your previous driver?
  14. Got fit into the 9* GT3 yesterday with a Tour AD-UB 6S shaft. Best strike with it attached. Counting down the days till it arrives!

    Also the GT2 3 & 5 wood with Tour AD-UB, SM10 52.12F & 56.12D.

    It was a GREAT day!

Jason, I also got fit into the GT3 with the UB6 stiff at 45.25”, just got notice it has shipped.

What UB shafts did you get fit into for the fairway shafts? I tried the UB7 stiff in the GT3 16.5, but didn’t get the launch, so I’m down to the Ventus Red TR7 or the Tensei Blue 1K 7 stiff. Both were very comparable, and thinking the Tensei because of no upcharge. I wish I would have tried the UB6 in the fairway, but the fitter wanted to go up 10 grams in weight. Thanks!!

    Lethbridge,

What I really found interesting in my fitting was that the fitting was conducted using various shafts but the best results were obtained using my Graphite Design Tour AD DI shaft. Just proved that it is the head providing the improvement. I was so impressed that I was also fitted with a GT3 15 degree fairway wood. The Faiway wood head is as amazing as the Driver head. Thank you Titleist Engineers you are at the top of your game.

I’m currently hitting the TSR 2. Could you tell me what your previous driver was and what was the most important feature that sold you (Feel, Distance, etc).
I really need to gain some distance off the tee.
Any comments and or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Lethbridge,

For me it was the added club head speed and the added distance over my previous driver head which was a TSR2. I picked up 12 yds. What sold me was everything the look of the head, the feel and of course the distance increase. It is a club that you have to try in a fitting to truly appreciate it. Go get fitted and I’m sure you will see what everyone I know that has been fitted has seen.
  19. Have had my GT4 driver / GT3 - 3w combo a week now. LOVE them. Distance is up some from previous Darkspeed LS (I'd guess about 8-10 yards on average), but it's the dispersion. If I'm not IN the fairway, I'm 1-3 yards into the first cut.

    As a result, I've shot 79, 79, 73, 76, 79.. More than please with the early returns they've provided!!

Thanks to the Titleist team for yet another great video! That GT driver is a beast! I can’t wait to get a chance to try them out and see what kind of gains I can get!
