The spin and spin rates of your golf ball matter because those affect the flight, trajectory and control you experience as the ball flies through the air. This translates into your game by being able to get the appropriate amount of spin with your golf ball on a variety of shots.

And when you have the right amount of spin for your game, you're going to be able to use club selection and technique to control all the different types of shots that you hit.

Great information, especially speaking on the spin rate and club selection along with flight the ball will take. Good stuff as usual! Thanks TT

I normally play AVX, but my financial advisor gave me a couple dozen Pro V1 at my last visit, and I put them in play. But the combination of Pro V1 and SM10 has just been too much spin, so I quickly went back to my AVX.

Interesting information. Thanks for posting! From 50 yards and in, I have been struggling with too much spin / not being able to see the ball release. Admittedly, that probably has more to do with lack of skill than the Pro V1's. :)

Great information, this is why people harp on spin at launch monitors

This is so informative and helps you understand the key role spin plays in your game. Last year when I did an iron fitting at TPI I learned so much about the proper spin with my irons and was able to dial those numbers in. Ever since, I've seen a huge improvement and consistency in my yardages and ability to control my shots.
