I just played Doral last month in a junior tournament called the Doral Publix Junior Classic.  I would recommend playing the white along with the blue monster.  They are both great courses and are very different.  Check out the mclean signature course as well. 

What other courses are you thinking of? Are you staying near Doral? Not many places to eat around there that are worthwhile, you have the same chain restaurants around the country!

South Beach is the best spot to have some food, Prime 112 is great and packed usually

Definitely the white is a must play and the mclean as well, the other nice courses are probably a bit more to the north

We are playing... The Blue Monster, Great White Course, Jim McLean Signature and Doral Resort Gold Course. I will definitely book Prime 112 - looks great online. Steak and seafood - can't go wrong. Thank you for the dinner tip!

If you can, I would recommend making the short drive up to Ft Lauderdale and go to Primanti Bros. for lunch,  you wont be sorry
