You might enjoy Fossil Trace in Golden.

CommonGround Golf Course, best public course in the area and a great caddy program. USGA events are held there every year since its opening in 2009. My home course too!

Nice schedule. My Grandpa lived on Hiwan. I learned to ski, play hockey (and golf obviously) there- you'll enjoy it. I also used to live in Silverthorne. The Raven is a great track. If you're feeling ambitious, head up the road to Keystone Ranch. It's an old Robert Trent Jones Jr course and my favorite in Summit County. You'll also love Fossil, Bear Dance and Arrowhead. Some of the best and most unique courses in the state.
Thanks Josh. Vacation starts thursday 9/5. Playing golf on good tracks with your little brother, Priceless. I'm really looking forward to this vacation.

What did you think of the courses? Did you love Arrowhead? That par 3 (anyone who's played there will know which one that is) where you hit through the rocks is nuts huh?
Did you check the triceratops footprint on Fossil?
I always miss CO around this time of year.
My golf schedule was changed due to the rains that fell that week. Played the muni in evergreen, for a taste of mountain golf and a chance to see how much further my clubs went a good afternoon. On Friday played Hi wan. The day and the course was just beautiful. I had to dodge the elk and their droppings on a few holes. I knew i was in trouble putting on the practice green, they were much faster then greens i'm accustomed to playing. I never did figure them out, was mumbling as I walked of all 18. This was the best course I played . I didn't play raven, rocky mountain national park was put in the list of things to do. Place was incredible, hiked and drove all over it for two days. It was 85 in Denver and snowed at the top of the park. Fossil trace was closed Monday and we moved Arrowhead up to get it in. the scenery is unbelievable there . The service was not. Gps in the carts didn't work and had to get the "beer girl" to turn it off, all it did was beep. Our waiter in the restaurant was not very good and was trying to pick up the waitress. Loved the course not the service.
Then the rain started. It rained to hard to play bear dance on Tuesday, and i'm a mudder. Went gambling instead. wednesday it rained some more, scratch fossil trace. the muni in evergreen was under water on some holes, you could not see the 10th green just the flag. Flew out of Denver Thursday morning just in time before the 100 year rain that closed everything in Colorado.
It was a great trip just could not get in all the courses i wanted to .
