I just got my tickets yesterday to the Monday practice round and it will be our first time going! We can't wait til we make our trip to Augusta!

Thanks! We are driving up there early Saturday morning and still in the process of deciding what courses to play on the way there and back. Looking forward to taking plenty of pictures and hopefully can share some with all of y'all!

We used to drive up ever year in April on Monday before they started the lottery and then we put our names in the pot and went just about every year.  I believe they started the lottery in 1995.  They crowds in Augusta have gotten so large and we like to walk and watch golf and that is just not possible.  I have been blessed and been on every practice round day many times and even on the weekends and now just love to set back at home at enjoy the full coverage on TV.  Everyone needs to experience the Masters at least in their lifetime.  There is no other place like it.  It is Mecca of golf.  Hard to believe that there is no rough on a golf course and that it is acutally greener in person than on TV.  Actually, Ireland might be a little greener.  I also got tired of donating to the local police fund in Bamberg, SC on the way to Augusta from Charleston....lol  

Incredibly jealous!  I've never been to the holy land, but I certainly am planning a journey to the there someday.  There simply is no greater mecca of golf than Augusta National.  Have a great trip!

I wish I was able to say I was going too, but I didn't get picked.  I try every year.  Hopefully I'll get in someday soon.  Enjoy the day!

I have made three trips to Augusta National and each time its a magical experience. TV does not bring out the true beauty of the course or how severe the elevation changes. Its the most special place I have ever been, immaculate in every detail. The bunkers are filled the whitest sand you will ever see. The entire property is a show place for the beauty that is GOLF!

A friend of mine has two tickets to the tournament for life. This year, he offered them to me for Saturday.  After considering his offer for at least two seconds, I graciously accepted them.  I have been to practice rounds in the past, when you could purchase tickets at the gate....many years ago.   So, we will be headed to Augusta Friday afternoon...he also has a hotel room reserved as well.   Winning the Oceanside Experience Giveaway back in December and going to the Masters in April.    I'm not sure how it can be much better.  However, this time my buddy will be my wife....sorry Brett.  

I went to a Monday practice round about 14 years ago.  It was a lot of fun and I put in for the lottery every year in hopes of getting to go back.  But at the end of the day, (since I've already been once) watching on TV with my kids is certainly a nice second.

I hear ya.  I've been to the Tour Championship and the DBC here in Boston.  Watching on TV is the best way to see the action but every golf nut should make the pilgrimage to Augusta at least once.  I've been trying for years and never gotten tickets.

I won tickets for the Monday practice round this year as well.  Have always put for them but never won until now.  My son and I are going and we cannot wait!!!   Received our tickets several weeks ago.   Can't wait!!!

I can always look at photos from augusta. Its just amazing what the place is like. we were there for sunday and it is just impeccable

I've only set foot there as a Nintendo Wii character.  It looks amazing, and one day, one sweet day, I'll go.  Here's to being picked in the 2015 lottery!

We made the drive down from Myrtle Beach for the Monday practice round.  As we were waiting to cross street to get to the first set of gates the horn sounded.  Two minutes later it started to rain pretty good and didn't let up at all.  A few drinks later the course officially closed for the day so we made the drive back to Myrtle.  Never got in this year.  We did drive past Magnolia Lane.  Already planning for next year.
