Father's Day.....

    At first I didn't think I was going to be able to play on Father's day due to wet weather but thankfully it cleared out by the afternoon and my buddy still wanted to play..  After all, it's Father's day.. 

    My buddy belongs to a course called Wentworth by the Sea in Newcastle, NH.   I've played it a few times but for some reason yesterday stood out..  It was quiet, peaceful and calm. 

    I attached some pics and i know the conditions in the pics don't look good but I had a lot of fun... 

    Also, it was my first full round with my new 915 D2 driver....  Let's just say i'm VERY happy but still need to practice..  It's the arrow, not the Indian they would say..

    And to top it off I made it home in time to see final round of the US Open.  What a day....

    I love that section of New Hampshire!  It's been over 30 years since my days at UNH and living in Hampton Beach, but the drive along 1A was always gorgeous.

    We tried valiantly to get a round in Sunday morning, but the rain was relentless.  After our fifth hole, the pro came out and took everyone off the course, standing water on several greens and still coming down.  Too bad, I was -1 and hitting the ball well.
