Second, I've never played up North to be honest BUT i've heard some good and ok things.. I've heard North Conway Country Club is nice with some amazing views, Mt. Washington golf course is OK but at the time my buddy played during a very dried season so the course wasn't in good shape. But with all the rain we've had it should be in good shape..

I know this is out of the way but there's a course in Thornton, NH called Owl's Nest. A Jack Nicklaus design and played it a few times. Very enjoyable and worth the trip IMO. It's about an hour and 15 mins drive so not sure if you can swing it..

I haven't played or heard of the other courses you mentioned but you'll definitely get a lot of nice views. It's beautiful up in the mountains...

I'd definitely hit the Mt. Washington Resort, a Donald Ross course restored about 10 years ago if I remember. North Conway was always in good shape and a nice layout and great views around it.

thanks for everyone comments. I played north conway this am and it was in great shape. From the views, very small green to the superb condition I was impressed.

I am going to try to play Mt. Washington later in my holiday.

was lucky enough to snag a 7am tee time this morning at Mount Washington Golf Course. It was a different kind of course but had great views and some great holes.

While I didn't play Eagle Mountain I did practice there and the views are outstanding! Good grass range the course is only 9 holes and is so so.
