Myrtle Beach FREE for kids

    For all you TT members looking for a vacation spot and trying to figure out how to fit in some golf check out Myrtle Beach SC. I recently took my oldest on our first boys golf trip. We played 4 days and he was FREE on all 4 courses! We played Blackmoor (Gary Player course), TPC Myrtle Beach, Kings North (Arnold Palmer), and Tidewater. There are more than 50 courses that are either free or a discounted rate for juniors with a paying adult. It was nice walking into the clubhouse of a nice course and not get the "oh he's playing with you" look. For those of you looking for a place to get away with your kids and play some quality golf check it out we had a blast!

    Yeah, it's great isn't it? I was just there in June. Took my son (he's 9) to TPC and he loved it. According to him, TPC also has the best chicken fingers and fries, ever.

    I didn't take him to King's North, but after 3 days in a row my knee starting hurt a bit and it being a family trip I didn't play again. Will in the future though if we go back.

    Before playing the TPC Myrtle Beach, I would ask about their fairways. When we played there in June, they were bare and in need of a lot of attention. With the heat in July and August, it will be difficult for them to recover. I hope they can because it is a really nice layout.

    This is great to know. My little one is only 2.5 but this gives me something to shoot for when he's a bit older :)
