    Greetings fellow TT members.

My son lives in San Jose and is getting married the first week of June. My wife and I are driving out for the wedding so will take my clubs. Pebble Beach is only about an hour away and is definitely a bucket list course for me. I have been on their website and it looks like those who are non resort guests can play but can only make tee times 24 hrs in advance.

For those of you who have played Pebble Beach Golf Links course, can you give a fellow TT member a little advice with regards to making tee times? I have only 1 day that I can play and it happens to be on a Monday so I wouldn't think it would be too busy? I would want to play with a caddie and walk the entire course for the experience. My hcp is 9.

Any insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Chris, i moved to San Diego 4 years ago and had to play Pebble. I only played the one round but did book a room at the Lodge to guarantee the tee time. It was a big expense and i'm usually pretty frugal but some things just have to be done. That's probably the only way you will get a guaranteed time. If you don't go that route and cant get on, have a backup plan for playing one of the other courses in the area.

Hey Chris! Congrats! Pebble is amazing! Definitely did the best thing by choosing to walk. Take your time. Take in the sights. Look around. And enjoy yourself. Your caddy will have a lot of insight and info, so use his expertise. Also, take a lot of pics! It will be a trip you'll never forget. As far as tee times, not sure about that, but don't think it should be a problem. Make sure you get there early enough to warm up and putt those beautiful greens. Also, a Tap Room burger is a must after the round! They've redone a lot of the clubhouse, so take a tour around the grounds! Keep us posted! #TeamTitleist

You can book a room and tee time. $795/night for the room plus $495 green fees. Caddie or cart extra. or you can show up early in the morning on Monday (2am recommended) and put your name on a list. Your name may or may not be called to fill in a foursome going off during the day. Understand that resort guests that are on that same list have priority. If you have 2 days you can play 9 holes in late afternoon or play the twilight hours for half price.

If you're an NCGA member, there is a special for the month of June. Call them and mention the NCGA Golf Offer and you will be able to book in advance and get a deal for 25% off, assuming they have times available.

You were "spot on". I was able to make a tee time and book a caddie. I'm so pumped! Thanks for the advice!

TT is an awesome community and more valuable than I ever thought possible. I will make this a memorable life event!

    Thanks again! ... CG

Enjoy your trip. Play a round of golf on the peninsula is definitely worth the effort. I highly recommend using a caddie, it enhances the whole experience. If for some reason you can not get on Pebble Beach I recommend playing Spyglass.

Pebble is amazing with the history, views and playing the holes that you have watched on TV for years. As a pure golf course I like Spyglass just as much. The reasons are different but Spyglass is golf at its purest.

First time I went to the area I thought I wanted to play Peeble but the pros in my area talked me into playing Spyglass. Awesome experience. Less expensive and one heck of a golf course. Less congested.

I'm so glad it worked out! Just play and enjoy! It's a great course and a lot of fun to play. Relax and do what your caddie tells you to.

    Enjoy!

I just played Pebble last month and I definitely recommend walking and taking a caddie. Not only is it a fairly easy walk (if you're used to walking), but you'll enjoy the scenery and experience. I found the caddie to be very helpful and worth the extra cash. Have a great time.
