Today was our day in North Myrtle Beach at the Barefoot Resort as four members of Team Titleist from various parts of the southeast gathered for a day of fun and gamesmanship.
The Norman course presented many challenges for the four of us with, it seemed, lots of sandtraps, especially my partner and I. DavidB (Hilton Head, SC) and myself dueled it out with Keith M (GA) and Gary B (NC) in a tough TT match today. Gary had stated earlier that he had played this course before so he definitely had the upper hand. He even yelled on the last hole I got a birdie after I had been in the deep jungles of Australia again, seeking out my Prov1 that had disappeared off the toe of my AP1 nine iron never to be seen again.
thankfully that was the only ball I lost today. Hopefully he will share some insight and maybe a picture or two. It was great the see all the guys and to share stories because I will be able to participate in the TT Invitational this year due to some medical issues that will prevent me from walking eighteen holes. Hopefully next year will change. Good time, good friends and fun was had by all. That is what golf and Team Titleist should be all about. David, Chuck, Keith, Gary Cheers....
