    Having watched the Desert Classic this weekend it has gotten me excited about my trip to Palm Desert in March. I need a break from the cold, snowy winter in Chicago.

    Any course recommendations in the desert? I’ve played the PGA West courses. Am considering Desert Willow. Would love to hear from y’all.

    Prices can still be a bit steep in March. If it's within your price range, Classic Club is one of the best open to the public. I like La Quinta Celebrity Course too. Indian Wells and Desert Willow are also good choices. Can't really go wrong with any golf in the area. Have fun!

    I highly recommend Classic Club.
    Both Indian Wells Resort Courses are Great.
    PGA West Stadium Course is one of my all time favorites.

    Firecliff at Desert Willow and the Classic club are two good ones. Mission Hills CC - the Dinah Shore Tournament course is also fun.

    Looks like you've been given some nice recommendations up there. Yeah, I agree with the Classic Club, and I also like the La Quinta Resort & Club (Mountain Course). Eagle Falls Golf Course just north of La Quinta is pretty fun, too. But there's one course off the beaten path called Desert Dunes Golf Club (used to be a Canadian Tour Q spot- watch for the wind forecast on this one).

    Absolutely do Desert Willow. This golf course got me hooked when I was first starting out. Classic Club is pretty great as well.

    Didn't know what days you are planning to be in Palm Desert but if it includes Sunday, March 10th you could drive over here to San Diego (2 hours) and play with us at The Grand in Del Mar for our local Team Titleist Golf Day. Call the course to get signed up.

    Classic Club... Very good course and customer service!

    Classic Club is great. Play it early before the wind starts.

    SilverRock is really underrated.

    Shadow Ridge is also really good.

    Mission Hills Pete Dye is like the same basic footprint as Stadium Course for a 1/4 of the price. I liked it just as much. Island 17 green too.
