Heading up to Knoxville labor day weekend for my 55th High School reunion. Hard to believe that we are still doing them, but every five years we get together. Appreciate them doing this. Went to a small high school in Strawberry Plains (Carter High School). Think we had about 150 in my class. Actually that is where my mother graduated from and she graduated at the top of her class, which did not rub off on this lost sole. My high school locker mate and I high are putting together a golf event for Saturday morning at Ruggles Ferry GC. He is signing up the players and getting the tee times and I am putting together the tee gifts. Just a nice little golf outing out in the country for a bunch of old farm boys. The whole event is about having fun and reliving our high school days, if we can remember that far back, and catching up on what has happened in the past five years. A lot of folks do see much sense in HS reunions, but we do, it brings back good times, and we get to play a little golf. Not something we got to do way back when.
