  1. Obligatory - I should go to an authorized retailer if I want a firm answer to this question, but I wanted to check and see if these T200s with KBS Tour 90s (which are believe are custom) are authentic. I'm not sure If I'm allowed to post a serial number on here, but is there a way for me to talk to someone on this forum on via telephone to see if the set that I have is authentic?

If so, I'll save about $900, if not, I have the option to return to seller and I have buyer protection through PayPal.

    Anyone have a POV?

This forum is mostly populated by end user Titleist geeks, so you should check with Customer Service at Titleist, listed at the bottom of the web site, for authentic information.

That said, what stands out is $900 under retail with a custom/up charge shaft. The first rule of thumb is if the price is too good to be true, then it is likely not true. The PGA value guide is $587 trade-in/$932 retail. For $587 I can sell the set with no hassle. I'd need $750 at least on e-bay to pay the commission, shipping and the potential for the buyer to hassle me.

You can email Titleist Customer Care with the serial number and they will be able to provide the original specs. provided the serial number is authentic.

Check the links on the very bottom of the page for access to Customer Care.

    Best of luck.

If you want some peace of mind, buy golf clubs from a trustworthy source. I.e., authorized retailer.
