  1. Hey everyone,

Waiting for miz Pro 225s (Steelfiber i95 shafts, XS) from Club Champion, fitted on 2/25. In the meantime, working on filling out the wedges in my bag.

Working with a Vokey SM8 58*, Vokey SM8 54*, just bought a Vokey SM8 48* from a reputable seller on Ebay. However, it came in and I have some questions right away.... serial number above the Titleist logo it significantly smaller than my 54* and 58* - see in pics.

Otherwise, I called Titleist and gave them the serial # - the representative was able to give me the exact specs down to the shaft. Seems legit, but the small serial # is really throwing me off (I also think the ribbon on the neck is a bit different from the 54* and 58*, but the rep said that could happen). Weight doesn't feel different to me, either. Titleist rep said this theoretically could be a great fake, leaving me with just a tiny bit of doubt.

Could some folks give these pics a look and let me know their thoughts? I can return within 14 days if I really don't feel great about it. The Titleist Rep giving me the exact loft and lie, shaft, etc makes me feel good but the small serial number gives me pause.

    Thanks!

It's fine. There are variations in size on serial numbers on several of mine, all bought from the same Titleist retailer.

So let me get this straight.
You checked the number with Titleist and they verified, but you have doubts.
You want opinions from hacks that you don't even know to make you feel better.

    Miz players!!!

Seriously, I think you're safe assuming they are real. You did your homework, and different serial number appearances are fairly common.

If you still have doubts, I'll give you $30.00 for it, and you can buy a new one from a trusted dealer. Then we'll both be happy.
