  1. Still gaming my Sm8’s but it’s about time I renew my wedges. Is there much difference from the Sm8’s to sm10’s or will I be find ordering the exact same specs? Cheers

Four years worth of new technology. Need to go to a demo and check them out versus your old wedges.

Honestly just grab some new Sm9's and save some cash. My local stores are selling new SM9's for $119. Grinds are going to perform similarly, so if you like what you have, go for it. If your swing or conditions have changed, worth going for a fitting first.

Hi, maybe a fitting will end with different grind or bounce.
There are not a lot of difference between Sm8 and Sm10 but with a fitting, you could end also with a different shaft that you will prefer.

I am in the same proceed and I ended up with KBS shafts. But I have to admit that the s200 are very excellent shafts also.
The importance is the feel specially on partial shots. A softer and good weight, for you, shafts help.

You won't see any significant changes unless you are a Tour level player. Other than your current grooves a little worn down, the 10's will feel a little sharper on short wedge shots.

I'm using 8s, and my game isn't good enough for me to tell the difference. When I need new wedges, I'll go with the 10s.

Probably not huge differences but I can tell the SM10’s have a lower flight trajectory while maintaining spin for holding greens. That sure helps me on windy days. I did change bounce and grind as my move from San Diego to Phoenix has impacted the type of ground interaction from soft fluffy lies to more tight, dry lies. Less bounce on my SM10’s.

The nickel is not too shiny or not too dark. It’s just right from sunlight.

I'm sure they know it's your birthday if you have completed your profile. Pretty sure everyone here has one too. I for one have reached the point where they are coming way to quickly but I hate the alternative. Happy Birthday.
  11. I am in the process of upgrading my irons and the lofts are going to be a little stronger. As a result I will probably reevaluate my wedge gapping. Plan on doing a fitting. Hard to improve too much on the already great vokey, but I do agree that testing different bounce and shaft options could be beneficial
