Hole-in-one with my test ball. Par 3 about 80 yards, the test ball landed about ten foot of the hole followed the contour of the green and wa-la into the hole for my 3rd career hole in one.

    Mike,
I always enjoy testing the new prototype balls to see if I can discern any differences.
I hope to be able to test more of them in the near future.
Keep up the good work, I am a loyal Titleist ball fan!
    All the best,

Just got the black number Pro v1 test ball. Longer off the tee and great feel around the greens. What a unique opportunity to test the ball before it hits the market. Honor and privilege to do this. One of the many reasons titleist is #1. Thank you

I very much enjoyed being a part of the team that tested what I consider to be the best maker of golf balls on the market. My favorite ball being the Pro v1x. I hope that I may be once again a tester of Titleist golf balls again soon.

so far so good, I still have the balls given to me to test and so far they have been good to use. I have dropped my handicap from 20.7 to 16.4 over the summer and I do believe the prov1x and the pro v1 has been the reason for hitting the ball straighter and longer. When you get as old as I am it helps to have the equipment that helps you hit the ball and it helps to have the ball to hit. thanks titleist.

Got my sleeves of Pro V's in the mail last month very good feel off the tee and around the green, unable to hit the ball like I used too but this ball made up the difference

Last sleeve I received had red and black labeled(numbered) balls. Red label I noticed ran out better on fairway from my tee shots vs the black label. For the green side shots both balls checked and released similar (note, I am not one that creates a lot of backspin necessary to pull the ball back, rather I play the check and release type shots). So while I neither gained nor lost distance, I was happy with the balls running upon landing after my tee shots. The black label(numbered) ball felt slightly softer with my putter (which I like). But both feel good as expected.

I've participated in a couple of ball testings (the next gen ProV1 3-4 yrs ago and the new NXT Tour last year). Really enjoy trying to figure out which ball it is and what the enhanced benefits are, and seeing if the new ball delivers against them. I like that TT doesn't "guide" the tester; just wants the test to be "blind." Keep up the innovation and keeping Titleist the #1 ball in golf !

Played 18 yesterday in cool blustery conditions with my Pro V1x test ball. Solid drives seemed to gain about 8 to 10 yards in total distance. Spin with short irons improved, no loss of distance. Able to hit a couple of one hop and stop wedge shots, but ball did pick up a few scuff marks. Very stable in the wind, minimally impacted by crosswind. Hoping weather holds here in MN so I can get out and try again. Thanks Titleist for allowing me to test these new balls, always a treat!

I haven't had any test balls recently, but I'm very good at providing feed back and sharing what you have sent me in the past. That way you get more than one opinion for your money. I enjoy it when I get test balls and I am looking forward for my name to roll around again to receive a new sleeve of balls to test.

I wish the test balls would have come earlier in the season. Just got them in the mail this week and the end of October in MI with the temp in the 50's is not the ideal time to be testing. They do seem to be comparable to the cally Chrome Soft that I have usually been playing. I may need to make the switch but I'm not sure which ball this was...V1 or V1x... The balls were marked with red 1's but I'm not sure which is which...it would be nice to know.

Actually agree with others.......difficult to tell the difference between this and previous generations. Received the Pro V1x sleeve and played them today. A bit softer off the driver, just enough spin around the greens. As always just a great product from Titleist!!! Have come to expect same, and was not disappointed. Titleist is just a class act!!! Well done!!!

Only just received a sleeve of test balls and got to play this weekend. A miserable day to play in the Northeast, but the ball played well. Extremely high winds (30-40 mph) but the ball held the line well, even in the wind.
Off the driver I found the trajectory lower than a ProV1X and rolled out well adding a few yards to the drive. Seemed to fly higher off irons (AP2) and land softly. Great spin around the greens (and out of the bunker) with the ability to stop on a dime when needed. Excellent feel off the putter.
Looking forward to a few more rounds with this ball. So far, overall outstanding performance in adverse conditions!

I've recently received a sleeve of the new test ball. I was very excited to get a chance to participate and compare this ball to the ProV1's I've been playing.
I thought the ball played very well. it felt softer than what i was used to. On the drives that I hit well, I believe that it flew farther before touch down. Here in SE Wisconsin our fairways are very wet, and the cool weather holds the dew most of the day now. So getting any type or roll is pretty much null and void. Still it gave me a very good idea of the ball flight, i was landing this ball where i normally end up with a flight and roll. So I was surprised. I didn't like the sound coming off my driver though. shots hit on sweet spot sound almost dead, but like i said the performance was noticable. Around the green with well hit wedges, the ball landed and stopped relatively close to where it struck the green. I liked that but wonder if it doesn't spin as much as the old Pro V's because those same hits will cause the ball to back up a little bit. I like this better. Putting was about the same as the ball rolled true and gave me the same confidence putting. I really noticed that on poorly hit drives, (think slice), this ball hardly moved. I don't hit many slices but you know what i mean when you cut a ball across the face causing side spin. i had a few of those and every time i landed just off the fairway. i was impressed! All and all i would buy this ball. Again the only thing i didn't care for was the sound comparison coming off the driver, but that is just psychological.

Got my sleeve 2 days ago, weather here in New York is wet and cold, but will give them a try tomorrow if weather permits.

Received a sleeve with the red numerals on Thursday. Played 18 holes Friday. Temps ranged from 42 to 50 at the most. Wind was a little more than 10 mph.
The ball was terrific. Good distance, very stable in the wind, excellent green side control and wonderful to putt.

I received my test balls in November last year, here in Michigan the season is pretty much over by then. I would love to get them earlier in the year for us northerners.

I received 2 sleeves to test last fall and enjoyed being part of the game development for Titleist. I look forward to opportunities to test more balls and equipment in the near future. I'm in the market for new irons this spring, so ya never know!

Thanks for supplying me with the 3 Titleist 1 prototypes. A great overall ball. Longer distance of the tee with my driver, comparable with hybrids and mid irons and it spun well around the green. I really liked the softer feel when putting as well. Played in strong winds today 25-35 mph. The prototype ball bored through the wind well and was very durable. Appreciate you letting me try them out. I hope to see them in production!
