  1. Are there any plans to make this ball in Yellow?
  2. I stumbled upon this ball last year when I found one and started playing it. It was like magic for me - it flew much straighter off the driver I love the action on the greens.

The ProV1 has too much spin, and the ProV1x can get spiny if I go after a wedge and put too much spin on it. The Left Dash (LD) seems to be spin averse, but not that it does not spin, it just stops and stays there.

The ProV1 scuffs up very quickly with regular shots and seems to discolor for me. The ProV1x is next in durability and the LD is excellent in durability, but...

The second generation of the LD has a reformulated cover - it is more of a matte finish and it scuffs up far more than the original. I am not sure if this was done for short game spin or not, but I am not a fan. At first I thought the LD did not spin on short chips, but it is a matter of getting used to what it does. I use the regular ProV1x if the greens are really hard and not holding.

I never would have guessed that I would fit with the LD, but it has been a dream fit - I will be moving to the LD exclusively moving forward

Finally put this ball through a couple rounds. I really like everything about it. The more I shallow my swing, the more this ball fits my game. Its long but spins enough; for me, it's between the V and the Vx. Green side is great; its a drop and stop ball.

I started the season out playing both the Pro V & X. After about 20 rounds my fitter suggested that I try the left dash. I haven't looked back. I am a slow swing speed golfer, but I must say that it feels and sounds great off of all of the clubs in my bag, including putter. I was absolutely surprised how straight the ball flew. Not only was it straight but I picked up about 5-10 yards on my drive. Around the green it performs fantastically.
The ball works well for my game. Try it. You might have the same experience.

Love the Left Dash... played ProV1 for a long time, kept getting recommended to switch to X... but never got totally comfortable with it around the greens... so the left dash seems to combine the best of both for my game. Love it... just need to find more around here!
  6. Switched to the left dash this season. Absolutely love it! Mostly, I love the distance and harder feel with driver and woods. Ball speed is up slightly, but really consistent low spin. I tend to be a pretty high spin player with irons and have no trouble adding it when I need to hit a tight pin, so the low spin is huge for me to gain a few more yards. I find that my full wedges hold a consistent spin to the Prov1, maybe 400-600 lower across the irons.

I can’t say that I love the harder feel around the green, but I’m getting used to it based on the benefit tree to green.

I switched to the Left Dash from my ProV1x soon after they were introduced. I love it…but I loved the x too. I enjoy playing it every Saturday with it’s great feel around the green and trajectory that’s fits my game. I look forward to new models and would enjoy testing new balls as they are available.
  8. I play the TSi1 Driver and the ProV1x left dash ball. This has been a wonderful combination for me. I am 75 years old and need the benefit of the light Driver and low spin off the Driver for distance. the Left Dash still spins well around the greens. I can still keep up with many of my younger buddie off the tee. I thought that I could compress a softer ball and get more distance but was wrong! I love the firm feel of the ProV1x left dash golf ball. I do have a difficult time finding them and have stocked up when our Pro Shop got them in stock. Don't change this Ball!
  9. Have been playing this ball for a while now and once you get past the harsh feel (coming from prov1), you start to really love it.....its a great ball that is great 50 yards and in as well as VERY long off the tee.....to me, much better than the regular X......just like left DOT is much better than the regular prov........i see a change coming in the Titleist lineup!!!!!

I tried them and actually love the distance bump! I was expecting them to roll out more but they were stopping within a foot (or less) of landing!! They are definitely firm which I don't have a problem with except putting (I prefer the softer feel of the V1/X). The only issue is finding them (smile), right after I ordered mine (from Titleist) they are "currently out of stock on Titleist.com." It appears though that they will be available again in September.

Picked up a sleeve to try out this week. I played yesterday with the longest hitters in our men's group. A former baseball player, who normally hit the ball long. The left dash is definitely long. It worked very well for me and picked up some distance with all my clubs. May have picked up half to full club off the driver. That would equate to 5-10 yards when hit in the center. Even with off center still got good distance. Of course playing with the TSi3 driver with a Fujikura Speeder 661 TR S shaft. The three way combination seems to work rather well. The irons seemed to pick up a few extra years when hit solid. Have had issues with them. Rode with my coach yesterday and seemed to, by the end of the round, stopped hitting the ball on the second groove. Position and alignment can really affect the distance and accuracy. See how it goes on Friday. No worries getting the ball here. My shop has good supply. So far, I do like and it rolls well on the greens. Good feel.
