  1. Every time I complete the Titleist ball fitting online, it recommends the Pro V1. I have tried to play it a number of different times this year and was disappointed with the performance in my particular testing. I've tested a bunch of different balls this year and found the Bridgestone BRX and srxn QStar Tour to be the most consistent for me with good short game spin and distance off the tee and irons. However, with Bridgestone and srxn being nortorious for ball inconsistency, I was hoping for something different from Titleist. When Tour Speed came out, I bought a dozen and put it to the test. Longer off the tee, short game spin comparable and the knowlege of Titleists relentless pursuit of quality and consistency make this the only ball I will play. Thanks Titleist for seeing a need an filling it well.
  2. These balls are long. I was 10 yards longer off my driver than with the cally Chrome Softs I normally play. The Tour Speed is not as soft as Chrome Soft, but it's soft enough. The Tour Speeds performed as well around the greens as Chrome Soft and the stopping power is quite good as others have mentioned. Off the wedges on full shots the Tour Speed feels great. Same with irons. One thing I noticed with this ball is it has almost no side spin. Last night I did hit two slight fades off the driver (my normal shot is a soft draw) but I think it was due more to my set up than the ball. The first round I played with the ball I was surprised at how straight it was. At $40/dozen this will get serious consideration from me to replace Chrome Softs. I do like the Truvis pattern on Chrome Softs and I prefer a yellow ball to white, but I see that Tour Speeds will be available in yellow soon. Will definitely pick up a box when they do.

I know I'm late getting to the party, but it was a hectic September.
    I'll break it down simply.
    Pros:
-Might be the STRAIGHTEST ball I've ever hit.
    -Cover is scuff resistant.
-Feels fantastic off the putter and around the greens. (And on normal full swings, but with touch shots, feels really good.)
-Good spin into the greens. Not fully drop and stop, but drop and hop a few feet. Much better than others. And easier to toss in there than something that spins back 20 every time.

    Cons:
-As I have found with a myriad of Titleist golf balls, I lost more yardage into the wind than with my Bridgestone Tour B RX
-The side logo stamping is HUGE and obnoxious. As a slight nit pick, blue has never been a standard color for Titleist, and the blue in the logo stamp was an odd thing. Red or black. Just saying.

At the end of the day, if you are playing a tighter course this is the go-to golf ball. If you can spray it and chase, might be longer options out there.

Will this ball ever be available in yellow?

Tried a dozen tour speed balls. Nice feel, compete easily with Bridgestone BRX. But the covers have cut on all the balls so much so that a sleeve barely gets through a round. Was curious if anyone else had this issue. I notified Titleist of what may be a problem. I doubt that it’s just me as I have a slow swing speed . My usual ball is Prov1x and have never cut one.

I bought a sleeve of Tour Speed and played them last week. I love these balls. I was getting about 5-10 yards more and more spin around the greens. I wasn't hitting my driver to well but my irons loved this ball. Lol!
I just bought a couple dozen. I am very impressed.

I asked for and received two dozen for Christmas, and have been playing them to start my league season. Decent distance off the tee, but with noticeably lower ball flight than my other gamer, Vice Pro.
As others have mentioned, these seem to fly a bit straighter, not that I haven't managed to hook my fair share.
The only knock I'd give is on durability. I've seen some scuffing from really pure iron strikes, and they don't hold up well if they hit, or are hit by, anything but a club face and grass.
