    I seem to control the 388 better. I has a softer feel and it holds our greens nicely. I gained a little yardage and at my age, that is a very good thing. It just feels good and I sense a bit of better control. I make better shots for whatever reason with the 388 Proto.

    I have been playing Pro V1X for a long time and now wonder if I shouldn't gave been playing Pro V1.

    I’ve played the 388 and 348 the past few rounds, balls seem to have a softer cover. The 388 has a higher ball flight than the old v1x. The 348 seem to scuff more than the 388 the distance of the driver is about the same. I plan on playing the new 388 when it’s on the market.
