    Probably will follow closely to the schedule used 2 years ago for TSi. Exact dates will not be released early. Titleist always waits for the official announcement before dates are discussed. Expect some possible fittings at authorized facilities in early to mid fall. I understand the desire to know. At least we do know TSR is coming and anyone ready to make a change has the knowledge that they can pop now for TSi or hold off for TSR.

    Probably October / November, but nobody outside of Titleist product development can tell you for sure.

    Wondering this too. I really want to try the new driver and possibly switch from my G425 if its a better fit!

    For the TSR Drivers and Fairway Woods:

    August 8: Titleist Staff Fittings begins

    September 8: Retail Marketing Launch (First day you can formally advertising the product and solicit fittings. There is a chance that this date can be moved up and will will let you know.)

    September 8: First Fit Day (all fitting tools will ship directly to stores, and ready to go by this date)

    September 30: US Stock In-Shop Date (heads pre-book will arrive prior to this date, and you can build/deliver upon receipt)

    The second part of that release information for the TSR. One we will like the other we won't.

    The information that we will like:

    TSR Tech Stories:

    Bigger performance (ball speed) gains from TSi to TSR than we saw from TS to TSi.

    Major improvements in looks and feel, as well as aerodynamics and Surefit weight configuration.

    The information that we won't like, regarding the TSi:

    TSi End of Life Expectations:

    There will be no price reduction to TSi product. With this, we (Acushnet/Titleist) plan on clearing out all head inventory by mid-August.

    OEM builds will be available as longs as we have inventory (into September/October depending on loft/model).

    Any idea when the hybrids will be announced released. I believe the hybrids released with the tsi drivers and fairway metals but no mention from what I’ve seen

    TSR Hybrids and the TSR1 will be released in February/March 2023.

    Hopefully they have more loft options in the r3 hybrids. I would love to have all three of my hybrids be the thinner body style like the TSi3 but they only make them in 18 and 20deg options. Seems strange to have the only two options be so close in loft. Though i would prefer 17-21-25 loft options, they need to at least have something like 18-21-24.

    I believe the logic there is the TS13 hybrids are more of a low handicap players club and those players usually do not carry multiple hybrids so the loft selection is for whichever one best fills your gap. They look at the TSi1 or TSi2 lines to be more commonly used in a multiple club set up where a player uses less long irons in their bag.

    More info on the TSR Driver:

    Distance gain with the TSR driver is mostly gained through refined aerodynamics of the driver head. The overall shape has been redesigned with some input from Formula-1 race cars. If you look at the TSR-2, there is a trailing edge at the back of the driver like a race car.

    The new driver face has a significantly larger sweet spot than the TSi to help maintain ball speed on less than ideal shots. The titanium used in the faces of the TSR Drivers come from ATI. But the exact material is not the same as what was used in the TSi Drivers.

    Info on the TSR Fairway Woods:

    The main reason that the Active Recoil Channel has been removed in the TSRs is to save weight. There is a lot of metal in the folds that make up the slot for the Active Recoil Channel, and the weight saved is being used to optimize the weighting and forgiveness, as well as the launch conditions, of the TSR Fairway Woods. A new face design for the TSR allowed Titleist to retain the ball speeds without the slot. No specifics on what Titleist has done with the new face design.

    Very good information. Guess we will get to test them at Streamsong in late September. Looking forward to that. Hope they have Fujikura Speeder shafts available.

    The Blue, Red and Black Ventus Velicore shafts are currently available for a $349 upcharge. I don't really seeing that change with the TRS Drivers and Woods.

    The non-Velocore Ventus is a cheap shaft and not worthy of being a standard offering for Titleist. Or if you're asking if a Velocore ($300 upcharge) shaft will be stock offering.... i think you already answered your own question.

    Sorry Rob. Titleist does not release sales and marketing info prior to their official announcements so do not expect to get a firm response on this question at this time. You might get some club pros or independent fitters make comment here as to what they have been told but nothing will be official from Titleist. You can expect that most anything will be available as either a custom at stock price or a custom with a premium up-charge as has been Titleist's process in the past.

    I've heard it'll be Mitsubishi Tensei Black,Blue, HZRDS and maybe another higher launching shaft.
    I doubt Ventus will be stock option; it's a £270 upcharge, unless they use a dumbed down version. Hoping the new TR black & Red that have been announced will be optional upgrades. Super interested in the TR black in a TSR3 personally.

    Hoping for a big upgradde from my 915D3!

    What are the cc sizes of the new TSR lineup? I got fit for the TSR4. Wondering if it is 430cc?

    460 cc on the TSR 2 and 3. 440 cc on the TSR4

    Shawn, probably will not get an official answer until the website loads the TSR's under the Clubs tab where all the specific details are listed. I would expect that it would likely be close or the same as the TSi4 which would make it 430cc.

    So I did one of the early fittings for TSR. Played the TSi3 and really liked it. Ball speed was high 150’s. Initially hit the TSR3 and ball speed jumped 5mph. Picked up close to 20 yards in carry.

    Then hit the TSR2. Ball speed was now in the mid 160’s with the off hits in the low 160s. Ball speed just does fall off at all. I was sold after the 2 but for grins hit the 4.

    I hit 3 balls with the TSR4 all within 5 feet of each other. Hit it farther too but the issue is the club worked so well that the spin rate fell to 1450 rpm. Not good. The 4 is greeted those who have really high spin.

    The 2 launched at 14 with 2600 rpm and 110 apex. I’ll take those numbers all day long.

    I ordered the 2 and I just got it. Playing this weekend, so will put it to the test right away.

    Well….for the first time (I think), Titleist is releasing their version of a Mini-Driver-Type Fairway Wood in the TSR 2+. 12 degree standard loft only. The it has the adjustable Surefit Sleeve. Trying to figure out the actually size.

    190 cc, not the bad. Considering that the TSi 2 13 and 15 degree fairway woods are 175 ccs

    Some of us old guys remember that Titleist had a line called 910Fd which were larger than 910F and designed to be used from the tee on short Par 4's. They were pretty good from the fairway too. It's not a new concept but has been a while since they had this option in their lineup.
