  1. Do you have the same grip throughout your set or are you not really bothered about grips being the same? excluding your putter of of course

    Cheers

Same. Winn DriTac midsize throughout the set, except for the Scotty, which is a Pistolini. May change it out for the Winn putter grip just for a change.

Same here … the standard grips but they do the job well.

I second the Winn Dritac midsize. I like the comfort of them. Plus the gray looks great with the black AP3s!

    Huddersfield,

Pure tour wraps throughout the bag apart from my wedges which is have just changed, which are Tour Velvet. I also have a Pure Midsize on my putter. Lovely grips but a touch expensive

It just feels weird to me to have different grips on different clubs. I like Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G on my clubs but I do have different colors (red and black). I have red on my PW so it stands out on the green and cannot (hopefully) ever be left behind! I used to leave it with the pin but now leaving the pin in I've lost that move...
  10. I have Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips on all of my clubs, including the putter. The irons and wedges are mid-size and the putter, driver, and hybrids are jumbo (so as to slow my hands down a bit). I like the feel of the same grip so as to make everything consistent. Besides, these grips really last for me (although I'm sure that I don't play or practice as much as most of the T/T nation). They also can be cleaned easily with just water, so if they get a bit slick on the course I just put some water on them, dry them off and they are ready to go.

Lampkin on my irons and Golf Pride MCC grips on all of the rest. I don't even think about the different grips. One thing I have been doing lately before I practice or play is wash my hands. It's a minor thing but the hands can get dirty and oily.

I prefer them to all be the same. I use the Lamkin crossline in midsize.

Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G grips on all woods and irons. Been using them for years, ever since they first came out. Love the tacky feel.
  14. Whatever grip I'm using, I want it to be the same on every club except putter.

I recently acquired a set of 718 AP2 irons and to my surprise I really love those white Tour Velvet grips Titleist and Vokey are using for their stock grip nowadays. Never much cared for Tour Velvet in the past but these just fit my hands and suit my swing perfectly.

I'm working on locating a few of those same grips to put on a couple of older SM6 wedges that still have the Tour Velvet "Wings" grips (which are about worn out). If I can source some Titleist replacement grips I'll have the white Tour Velvet on the whole set.

Mine are the same throughout. Golf Pride MCC red and black Midsize with 4 extra layers of tape and logo down.

I use the golf pride tour wrap, they are cheap and tacky...the only time when being either of those things is a compliment!

GolfPride Midsize MCC+4 on driver, fairway, hybrids and irons. The grip is awesome and they outlast other brands. GolfPride TOUR SNSR 104cc on my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putters.

here's another vote for the Winn DriTac mid-size grips for woods, hybrid and irons. Have Scotty Custom Shop grip on my center shafted prototype.

the DriTacs have a tendency to wear quickly, but I need the extra cushion for a bad elbow. Plus, I change my owns grips and replace throughout the year as needed.

I have a mix of Tour Velvet, Lamkin Crossline, Crossline Cord, Sonar, and, a png 5L Cord. I am slowly moving away from corded grips.

I use Golf Pride midsize MCC +4 with align, best grip I have ever used.
  22. I use Superstroke S-Tech grips on all of my clubs, they are really nice grips.
