I wear the FJ WeatherSof gloves. Buy them 2 in a pack for $20. I try and wash mine once a month in some warm water and Dawn. Store it in a a quart size freezer ziplock between rounds. No idea how many rounds I have with my current glove. I’ll wear it through the winter at least.
  2. For me personally, rain gloves have worked better than most. Overall, they last at least 3x as long as plain FJ gloves. Worth a try at least!

Years ago, I bought a couple of boxes of Kasko (not Costco!) gloves from a shop that was switching brands. They’re great and last. That said, I think the secret to longevity has been mentioned before. I have a rotation of three gloves and I’m religious about changing them. I’ve written 1, 2, 3 on them and I switch after 6 holes. Even in the hot summer of SC, they’ve lasted well.

I use a rain glove for practice and a leather glove when I am on the course. try carrying a zip lock bag to keep the glove from drying out on you. I find that when the glove goes from damp to try it tends to crack and tear faster.
  5. Keep the plastic envelope that the glove is purchased in, and put the glove back in the envelope when it becomes hot and sweaty. This will allow the glove to dry in the proper shape.
I usually keep a couple in my bag, so that you can rotate on hot days.

    The gloves will last longer.
  6. It might have something to do with your grips. I had golf pride mcc and would wear through the palm in 5 rounds. I got new irons with tour velvet grips about a year and a half ago and haven’t worn through and gloves since.

I love the feel of the Players glove and buy them in bulk. As others have said, if you rotate them, they last longer.

Titleist has great gloves. I would change more ofter. Use 3 gloves over 18 holes. It is hot during the summers in NC and they last. Use one old glove for range only.

I am a big fan of the FJ Pure Touch gloves - although they can wear out quickly depending on how often you play.
I also just purchased some gloves from Asher Golf (www.ashergolf.com/.../all-gloves). Just starting testing them out and so far they feel great. To soon to determine how long they last though.
  10. I have been playing the footjoy trusoft recently really like the feel and durability. Really recommend that glove
  11. I found glove from the golf warehouse. It was all Cabrera leather. I played it for about 10 rounds. With range sessions between. I liked it so much I decided to go to the website and buy one. Instead I bought 5 for less than 30 plus shipping. They are great and cheap.
  12. Footjoy Weathersof for me, haven’t bought anything else for years

FootJoy offers some great advice on getting the right fitted glove to increase it's longevity. Thought I might post this to help out. If you play in an area where is hot and humid, I would highly recommend the FJ StaCool golf glove. NanoFront fiber technology ensures an incredibly strong grip in any condition, with a Nanolock fiber palm for maximum control. A lightweight, cool comfort system for maximum breathability. Living in Charleston, SC where the temps May thru September are very hot/humid and lots of sweaty palms. I use to swear by the WeatherSof, but having moved on to a much better glove and when it gets dirty, I thru it into the washing machine, after putting a little shout on it, and let it dry over night. I get thru the summer with one glove and I play three days a week. I have even used it on a rainy day, it really does hold it's grip. It is designed specially for this type of weather. When the weather changes to wear the StaSof and because I get a good tight fit, it lasts a number of rounds.
