As many as you can afford!! I want the Pebble Beach Scotty or the 2015 Masters Scotty. Would really be something to own one of those pieces of art!

Thank you to all for replying to my thread. It has been a joy seeing the different styles & collections that we all have. With Fall fast approaching, golf will be less prevalent for some of the members of Team Titleist in the North & Midwest. Best of luck to you all and keep the comments coming!
Thanks,

Personally I'm a one Scotty man as I use everything I own.
Your putter is the most used club in your bag on any given day (you need some lessons of its not!) so you should have a special bond with your putter. I don't see how you can do that when you're changing between 2 or 3+ putters every few weeks/each round. You must have a really consistent stroke if you're able to switch between putters depending on the pace of greens etc. Mind you, if you did have a consistent stroke there would be no need to change putters to match greens speeds!

I dont change putters due to green speeds primarily. The main reason could be weather conditions. (I.E. Wet conditions with an oil can compared to a stainless putter). I use a blade type putter with the same specs except for the putter finish (deep milled, stainless, Oil can, PVD, 3X black, etc,) Stainless putter could be used year round but why use the same pair of shoes if you don't have to? A fresh pair always feels more comfortable.

How many Scotties should one have?
Just one more.

I have 5. Love them all but always looking to add.

I currently have 5 Scotty Cameron putters they are studio style newport 2 and squareback, the red x, pro platinum del mar 3, and a 1996 newport. I am trying to get a circle t putter right now. I am a lefty so the selection of putters is slim.

I only own one and the reason I own it is because my dad gave it to me. Because of this I say get as many as you can because a guy life me might just benefit from it :). I completely agree with you, the feel of the ball hitting the face of the club is unmatched.

One can never have too many scottys

I just bought my third and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon! My first was a Studio Select Newport 2. My second was a Futura X. I just got the X7M Dual Balance!

How many should one have? That is a loaded question! That's like asking how many beers, or slices of pizza should you have. I believe a man can never have too many! I look at it as an investment! There is no other club in your bag that you can sell 10 years later for as much or close to what you bought it for. Invest wisely my friend!

There is a very scientific formula for the correct number of putters. It is X = 1. Where X equals the number of putters you currently have.

If it's science, then it must be true!
I may need a little help from the Team Titleist community explaining that to my wife though.

Currently have 3 with one on the way. My collection fluctuates over the years. The answer to your question: As many as one needs.
jpeazy21FPO, AE
i have 2....I have the Newport 2, but about 3 months ago, i moved to the Futura X5R. i cut 3 strokes off my handicap. It's like they always say..."hit for show, putt for dough"....
Chris MGrindelwald,
Always nice having various beautiful putters but in the end just use one to have the same feeling the whole time
Really love my Newport 2.6
