Golf has always been synonymous with "family." It occupies our conversations over text and around the dinner table. A vacation near a course is always a prerequisite. A father would take his three sons to the local course on Friday afternoons for a loop of 9 holes. We'd finish the last hole as the sun would set. It's been an incredible joy and pleasure to do the same with my two sons. And I am sure I'll get to do it with grandchildren some day. Golf+Family=Life!

The fresh air, the nature, the constant battle of trying to perfect an imperfect game!

Add to that the exercise.

Peaceful getaway from work and get together with friends!

Thankful for the recreational and social opportunity that the game provides as long as one can physically participate. Truly the game for a lifetime.

Given the "**" in the title of this thread, my first thought was "shanks" the word that many dare not speak its name...

Why I'm thankful for golf, it brings us together. I've been fortunate to meet a lot of great people on the golf course, across the country, but more importantly it's an opportunity to bring the family together. Because of golf, I spend more time with my boys, the same as it was with my dad and myself once I took up the game.

How rare is it in today's world that we get to spend 3-4 hours with someone without that awful phone in your hand, doing something you love, and spending valuable time with loved ones? That's what I'm thankful for.

I would like to thank golf for the opportunity to to be myself, for being an outlet to compete and exercise, for always being there as a distraction from the ups and downs of the worlds and for the never ending chase of good shots, beautiful sunsets and quality time with friends.

I am thankful for the friends I have made through golf. Many great memories have been made , with some that should be forgotten, over the years with friends that I have made through Team Titleist and the FootJoy Community.

From having what is now a lifelong friend make his first Hole-in-One at Medinah to sleeping in the parking lot to get a crack at being the first off at Bethpage Black to having 3 likemind friends jump at the chance to walk 26 plus miles in a day playing in the Bandon Solstice event this past June and all the great trips in between without golf, none of the opportunities and experiences would exist.

Without a doubt Team Titleist is one of the greatest online communities for the golfer to connect with like minded individuals and the events and Invitationals are second to none.

I can't wait to see what 2020 brings and looking forward to meeting new friends and share some epic times on the golf course.

Through golf, I have made many lifetime friendships and continue to meet new, interesting people that I would not have except through our mutual love of this great game.

My first trip to a TT event (Pinehurst short game event) led to a day spent with other TT members at Speedy's event in New Hampshire with lots of new faces.

Golf has allowed me to spend meaningful, quality time with my two sons and FIL, days and rounds that I will never forget!

Most of all, the game of golf has humbled me in the quest for the "perfect" round - and that's what keeps me coming back.

As a young kid I enjoyed playing many different sports but was never really that good at any of them. Stumbling upon my dad's old clubs in High School gave me a taste and then to make friends with golfers at work sealed the deal for what would turn out to be 40+ years of play. I can't imagine any other sport where you can play and enjoy for that long and receive the benefits of exercise and camaraderie along the way. So thankful to remain healthy enough to play as I get into the "back-9" of life. Thanks TT for a place to share and thanks golf, for giving me so much enjoyment over the years.

Amen to all about good friendship made for sure- golf has been a great sports and draws many good people that I've been so thankful for. For some, I don't have to look far- here when I read from each of you, I learn many good things, and from the few of you whom I've met, you've become my friends. Looking forward to many more years of golfing and meeting new friends. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I might have been on course about 20 times by the time I was 59, and got my first Titleist clubs (AP1 712) 8 years ago. That was the first time I was serous about taking up the sport. I'm still enjoying good health at 69, and thankful that golf is part of keeping me active. TT offered me opportunities to learn more about the game and the equipment, and provided opportunities to play more than just a local muni. I've had the good fortune to play some world class sites with enough skill to enjoy them with what I've learned and who I've met through TT. The Swilcan Bridge photo could be described as the high point. I'm thankful every year to spend time with family, and to acknowledge that my time on course has created so many special memories.

I'm thankful being around the people on Team Titleist. I have learned and enjoyed the game so much more from this community of people.

Am thankful to be able to enjoy my retirement. Get out a minimum of three days a week with a great group of other retirees and enjoy the beauty of the lowcountry of South Carolina. With age comes limitations and accepting them. Golf has been good to me and I have been blessed in having the opportunity to play many of the great courses in the world and to meet some awesome golfers. For thirty years I worked as a volunteer for the various tours that came to Charleston and have met many of the pros that came thru our area. Golf is about the great outdoors, the people you meet and the friends you make. Take the time to enjoy the scenery around you...... =)

My TT brethren have covered it all; camaraderie, competitiveness, longevity, being out in nature for a few hours and as Don just eluded to some wonderful memories.I'm thankful that at 63, I'm in pretty good shape (still double bag it from time to time), still a single digit,can still move it both ways and am still yearning to be a better player.

The thing that doesn't get old is the Friday night anticipation of what Saturdays' round will bring.

It gave me time to play with my Dad before he past, good times I will never forget.

I am thankful for that one shot that keeps me coming back. Many days when my round has gone to s@#t and I'm looking for another ball in the woods I contemplate how much easier my life would be if I quit playing. Then I have that hole where everything works and I drop a 15' putt for birdie and say "ok, not quitting today". It also allows me to enjoy some quiet time to be alone and just forget about everything else but that little ball for a while. It is really refreshing. That and all the cool wildlife we get to see. As frustrating as it can be, I love golf.

I know that feeling was playing in a scramble tournament a while ago I was hitting the ball everywhere but in the middle of the fairway could not wait for this round to be over with..finely came to the 18th hole 10 foot putt off the fringe..I sink it throw my arms up in air and say lets play another 18..HaHa gotta love this game it only takes one shot to bring you back...

I don't know what it is but I get so excited every time I'm playing golf and for me that enough.

When it comes to golf, where do I begin with the **anks?

All of my golf **anks are owed to the Team Titleist community. Period.

Very thankful for the places I've been able to visit and play. Places like Pinehurst, Bandon, Whistling Straits, Erin Hills and throw in a Packers game, Bethpage and other places that I would've NEVER imagined visiting when I first started playing. And because of this great community, I was able to do that. Hope to add more courses in the near future.

Friends. This is the most important thing I'm thankful for. Friends that I've made through-out the years playing this beautiful game is a blessing. Some of them are like brothers to me and have so much respect for them. I've received some great advice (golf and personal) from my golf buddies and this community over the years and I'm thankful for that. Whether I have a good or bad round, just being on the course with your closet friends is as good as it's gonna get in life (minus family time of course).

It's been an epic ride so far playing this game.

And finally, thank you Team Titleist for all you do.

This game of golf has given me a career. I've been lucky enough to work my way up to Supervisor at a Muni, and have been there for 24yrs. Playing is just as important. So many friends. And the TT family is just icing on the cake!! Thanks to all!!
