    Hey Team Titleist,

What does it mean to our PGA TOUR Staff to be a part of Team Titleist? Well, when we asked some of our Brand Ambassadors recently at the TOUR launch of the new T-Series irons, what we heard is that it isn’t just about playing the #1 irons on TOUR, it’s about being a part of a team that thrives on a full level of trust and an enduring commitment to always getting better. It’s family.

But don’t just take it from me, check out the video above to hear from Justin Thomas, Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, Cameron Smith, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Charley Hoffman, Scott Stallings, Peter Uihlein and more!

We also want to hear from you, Team Titleist! Let us know: What was the first Titleist product you put in your golf bag? How long have you been playing Titleist and why? What made you become a part of Team Titleist?

  2. 1st product was a Titleist hat I got from a shop when I was young. I was one of the only people my age you writes and took notes in cursive. My friends always busted my chops about it saying it was a dying art. I saw a golf cursive script hat and loved it. Since then I put balls in my bag, then a set of original ap1s which really improved my game. I was hooked then and since.

The first Titleist product in my bang would have been the Titleist 384 Tour 100. Nothing better as a kid than when I would be a few of these from my dad as he put new balls into play.

My first Titleist products were the PT driver and fairway metal.

Shortly after were the 975D, ProV1, vokey wedges, and Scotty Cameron putter.

I've had a few other upgrades through the years, and absolutely love Titleist!

For me, Titleist represents quality and fun.

Guess the first product I played was the Titleist golf ball when I first started playing in 1985. As most golfers do I went thru a number of manufacturers before settling on Titleist. First set was a Wilson Staff FG 17, then png Eye 2 Black, Titleist DCI, cally 14, Titleist AP, 714AP2, 716AP1, T300. Started with TM woods, png, cally, miz, Nicket, Adams, and Titleist 910, 913, 915, 917, 816,818, but always most of the time Vokey wedges. As my game got better I moved to Titleist equipment and am now 100% Titleist. My first putter was a Bullseye, then went to a png, then tried numerous cally then to Scotty Cameron which I have stayed with always staying with the Newport 2 series. As far as the golf balls go, I tried TM, srxn, and cally balls and found that Titleist offers me the consistency and confidence I need. I guess I became a part of Team Titleist because of the comradity and I love the products.

I was a PNG guy until the AP1 710 came out and just fell in love with it. It's been nothing but love every since.

Honestly didn't know about the Team Titleist community until I started researching about the 710's. The feedback and knowledge from the community has always been top notch and just have a lot of respect for some of the TT members and the staff that makes this all happen.

    Team Titleist 4life.

Peace and love to you all.

I did not start playing golf until I was 40 yrs old..due to playing other sports although I would watch golf when it came on TV...when I got married my in-laws all played and was in outside sales and had customers that played so I said okay its time to start playing.took some lessons to get me started then I bought some equipment I cant remember what brand they were complete set irons, woods, and putter when I went to purchase the only name that I heard about was Titleist. so that is what I bought then and at age 65 I am still using Titleist balls and equipment..I see no reason to change to anything else..I joined Team Titleist because I was using the product and thought it would be fun to interact withe other Team Titleist members and share stories..the interaction with Team Titleast members and Team Titleist Staff on equipment, outings and support have been invaluable I look forward everyday to see what is new in the world of Titleist and Team Titleist..

Still using top rock balls intending to get fit for Cobra irons. Right after Cobra was sold. the Premier fitting center no longer had Cobra and set me up with AP-1 712's. Found the web site to learn more about clubs since I was only aware of balls until the fitting. Stopped buying used drivers, hybrids and reselling back what didn't work. ...Especially a swoosh Sasquash square driver that could be heard 2 fairways away. TT taught me enough to not try The Hammer. Boom!

I have been a Titleist user and fan. One month ago I was fitted for a new set of T200 irons. I patiently waited for the clubs to be delivered. I ordered Manaus recoil irons and when we called the custom fitting shop I was informed these shafts were out of stock and they didnt know when they would be available! So, after this long wait I reluctantly ordered different shaft. Other than continue to wait is there anything else I can do, especially if I don’t like the other shafts? This has been very frustrating!,,

I started working with a PGA Teaching Pro (Paul Norris) who became a good friend. He loaned me an older set of tour blades and I was hooked. Ordered my next set of irons through him (DCI's) and then converted the whole bag, irons, woods, wedges, and one of the first Scotty Newports. Proudly playing Titleist for at least 30 years now.

Irons were Spalding, then Hogan, then cally, then Titleist. Balls were Top Flite, then Maxfli, then Pinnacle, then Titleist DT90. I went on the Titleist website to check out some products about 4 years ago and found out about TT. Joined and posted about finding a fitter and Cathi Donahoo put me onto a great one and the rest is history.

Started in high school 9th grade (1977/78) playing varsity golf our coach always gave us a sleeve of Tilteist DT's Black over red number to play with in our meets. Later by my senior year I had a set of Titleist irons with the toe & heel weights (1980/81 time frame) after high school I kept the irons for several more years until I quit playing at age 32 (1995).

In 2010 I started playing again with different clubs (Cally's) but I went out and bought Titleist DT & NXT golf balls because I knew I would have to putt the ball sometime & I always trusted the roll of a Titleist golf ball.

    In 2103 I started playing the Pro V1. In 2015 I got myself some 712 Irons & a 910 D2 Driver, now I sport 716 AP1's, 915 D2, 816H1 Hybrids, Vokey Wedges & a Scotty Cameron Newport Select putter in a 14 divider Titleist cart bag.

I ran across Team Titleist about 6 or 7 years ago & used it to keep track of my scores and stats. (miss that feature) didn't post much as I felt the people were far better players & didn't think I could add anything of value to the conversations. I was very intimidated by their knowledge I found on this forum to be honest. So I mostly read the posts but didn't dare to post. Learned a lot of great things that helped me get my game back on track after such a long layoff though.

Then I realized they are awesome people & very helpful and a pleasure to interact with and glad to be a part of Team Titleist and no longer fear posting on the site...

I have always played a Titleist golf ball since high school because I trust the ball when I putted, didn't think much about it on any of my other shots but how it felt putting had me hooked from an early age. I have that same trust in my Pro V1's I play to this day, and of course my clubs too. ......

I have been playing Titleist balls since I was about 13 years old. I am now 70 years old, so that has been a long time. I now have a full set of golf Titleist clubs and am proud to show them off with a Titleist golf bag.
  14. My first Titleist product was many years ago and it was golf balls that I play with most of the time, but last year I invested in a new cart bag in blue and white and I am very pleased with it. I also have a Footjoy wet suit and Titleist wedges that are in my bag. I shall invest in Titleist products when I want some more new equipment.
    Keep up the good work.

Wow - I can't imagine playing anything but Titleist. Myself and my three son's bags are all completely Titleist (except for my 2-ball Odyssey putter - sorry). So that is 55 out of 56 clubs in our family that are all Titleist plus we all play Pro Vs.

My Titleist beginnings were in HS when my coach gave us DT Titleists (1978-79). I've never looked back. While other companies have come and gone Titleist has always been there. When it is time for an equipment change, it is just simple and easy to buy Titleist because you know they will have the best product with the most options and the quality will be outstanding.

Thank you Titleist for all you have done to make the game enjoyable for me and my boys!

My first Titleist clubs were the Acushnet AC-108 i got the summer before my Senior year of HS when i tried out for the golf team.

I kept those irons for 20 years before upgrading to DCI Blacks around 1997. I played those until around 2005 when i bought a friends set of Tour Model 95’s.

In the late 2000’s when Golf Fourms became popular i began my road into the dark tunnel of trying something new nearly every year.

I found my way back to Titleist in 2016 with the 716 AP1’s. This also was my first experience with a Team Titleist event. And meeting MikeD/Rick/Abby/Liz/Josh/MikeM and many other staff members and seeing how dedicated they are to us Weekend Warriors really solidified my loyalty to the brand. And the new staff that had joined recently such as Alan/Corey/TomT/Emily have stepped right into the family as well.

I upgraded to 718 AP1/AP2 Combo and just went to TPI in October and was fit for T300.

The ProV1 and now ProV1X have been my ball since 2009. There simply is no better ball.

I still test other OEM new clubs due to my job but Titleist always is the mainstay of my makeup.

I’m proud to be a Team Titleist member and truly appreciate all the fantastic opportunities the TT staff and Titleist have allowed us to participate in.

  19. I was a png Player until 2012 when my wife purchased myself a Titleist driver.
While on a business trip my vehicle was broken into and my entire bag was stolen and I was club less! My best friend sent me his old set. It happened to be Titleist DCI 990s. Since that day of receiving them I’ve never looked back, I was so impressed with the feel and control I had with them. April 2012 I purchased a full bag of Titleist 910 series, AP2 712 and Vokey SM4 and of course a new and 1st Scotty Cameron putter! Thank you Titleist for showing me the way! Upgraded the entire bag again 12/18!

When I first started 11 years ago I knew nothing, after buying 5 drivers in one year, I landed in the 910 driver and I haven’t moved since. The feel in titleist products is what keep me coming back
  21. I started playing Titleist when it was a wound ball and hitting it a little low of the drive face would leave a nice smile. Not to mention what you could do with an iron. Have been playing every sense and have no desire to change.

Bought a set of DCI's and never looked back. That was 25 years ago. Total Titleist now, irons , driver , hybreds, putter, balls , hats, tees anything that says Titleist. I am 70 now and still maintain a single digit and I know a lot of it is because of the Titleist equipment.
