Well played, Team Titleist. We’ve stayed home. We’ve stayed safe. But we’ve also been grinding away on our swings, short game, fitness, and more to #StaySharp so we’re ready to get back on the course as soon as we’re able.

We know that some of us have already been able to tee it up, and as we all get closer to getting back to playing the game we all love, we wanted to hear from all of you.

How are we feeling, #TeamTitleist? Have you teed it up yet? If so, where? If you haven’t had a chance to hit the links yet, what have you been doing to get ready for that next round?

  2. In my state golf courses are one of the last to open back up!

Lucky enough to get out there last Sunday for the first full 18 since our Team Titleist gathering back in March. Dr. K and his son Jack joined me. Headed back out tomorrow afternoon for a repeat in the heat. Supposed to be a toasty 95 tomorrow. It will remind me of my summers back in Texas.

Maryland here, too. Still waiting. Been a loooong forced layoff. My backyard has been my wedge practice area for the last 7 weeks, now. I can hit full wedge shots to about 120 yards on our two-acre, fairly wide-open property. I can also hit all other clubs, using AlmostGolf balls. They travel about 1/3 real distance and react much like an actual golf ball. It's certainly not ideal, but my only option right now.

If I get to see my back doctor next week, I might be playing the weekend, ain't going to be pretty, but I'll be swinging, if my doctor let me.
Just for readiness, my wife and I went for a walk and I took my push cart with my bag.

I haven’t gotten out yet. But I’ve been using the Titleist hashtag #StaySharp as motivation to practice. Just about everyday I practice on short game or putting and it’s come together all better than ever. With all the IG posts I’ve done using the hashtag I’m bummed I didn’t make the cool video Titleist made. Keep grinding and maybe next time!

We've been able to play all along, so other than the COVID changes (single person carts, no rakes, no water on course, no indoor seating, take out food service, if any, etc.) we've not had much change. One good thing, in my opinion, is that rounds have decreased in length of time - from over four hours to between three and three and a half hours. Without the gathering of partners to talk before hitting a shot, then moving to the other partner's shot, people are really moving along more quickly. Overall, upside down cup inserts have led to more "gimmes", but surprisingly have also led to more holed putts in general. For some reason, the ball seems to go into the cup easily, even more so than with a regular cup. My play has all been local, mostly on one of the two courses I join annually as it has two 18's to play so it's been easier to get out on.

We were allowed back to play at last, last Saturday. After 6 weeks, the rust was evident. 2 man groups, and 1 person to a cart. Tee times were 20 minutes apart. What a great day! It really made you appreciate just being on the course.
    Play Well,

Back to M-W-F schedule. Range reopened this week which is good, so i'm pretty much back to normal. Let's hope it stays that way.
  12. Luckily courses have been open here in Ohio. Weather has been up and down, so playing every chance I can. Had a fitting for new irons next Thursday in Michigan with Titleist but was cancelled today as Carl’s Golfland is still closed. Early Birthday gift to myself. Hope everyone else stays safe and gets the chance to play.

Been playing in a nearby cities as my city closed all the courses when the state stay at home order started back in March. The city did open 2 courses 2 weeks ago for walking only. Can't wait to be able to play more

My course (fingers crossed) opens May18, meaning I won't play until the 23rd, Memorial Day weekend.
  15. There are about 4 courses near me open. Been only playing 9 holes at a time walking and staying as a single whenever possible.

Feeling good, have been out maybe 5 times so far, mostly with the family for some intense scramble battles. I can't wait until the weather is in agreement with me that this is golf season! #StaySharp #TeamTitleist

We are lucky to have courses remain open in NC. I've only been able to play a couple times though. My home course is busier than usual due to people not working and kids out of school. Also, weather here in the mountains has not been conducive to enjoyable days on the course. A lot of rain, temperatures cooler than normal and still getting the occasional snow. Waiting on it to start again today and a little more on Friday. Not a lot of accumulation, but, the winds have been howling every time a front comes through. Lows in the extended forecast are down into the 20's and highs only in the low 40's. At 67 with multiple back issues that does not qualify as good golfing weather for me anymore.

  21. Fortunate enough to get in a couple of rounds in over this last weekend, our first weekend clubs were back open(Illinois). Even though I was thoroughly exhausted from playing/walking 2 days in a row after the long layoff, there were plenty of signs of encouragement for the season. Plenty of new equipment was added to the bag during the break and everything seemed to work very well! Looking forward to getting back out very soon.

BTW- the 2 rounds played over the weekend were supposed to have been played at Sand Valley with TeamTitleist!

30 miles from David B, in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.......no golf here still, despite heavy lobbying from the course owners and the State Golf Assoc. Looking at the clubs sitting in the corner of the bedroom just waiting......and waiting......and waiting. But a great friend from Fresno CA called and HAD to let me know last week that his course just opened up and he was playing.
