It's not perfection, but ball positioning makes me both- sweeper on forward, digger on trail.

Id say a tweener..... Better technique has stopped the steep angle of attack!!!

I am a sweeper/picker. Went to take lessons on being a digger for better ball striking and that ball first & watch it fly shot. It never transpired, still trying but not worried anymore about ball first. Since after 2 years I never got good at it.

I'm a digger.

I’m a picker and it drives me insane. I have tried and tried to take a divot. I’m not sure if it’s my mechanics, something mental with me or what but I just can’t take a divot. Well, I shouldn’t say that I can’t take one. Of course there’s the occasional fat, chunked shot.

I’ve been watching a lot of content online via Titleist videos, Rick Sheils, etc which have helped me with hitting thin, catching the hosel, hitting off the toe. Those were beneficial and have helped with those issues but I can’t force myself to go from a picker/sweeper to someone that can take a divot.
