Okay, it occurs to me that sometimes I can be a bit stubborn and opinionated (so my wife says) and that may occasionally bleed over into my posts. Just like on the golf course, I want to treat my fellow TT'rs with respect and understanding for their posts and opinions. Especially these days when everyone seems to have a heightened sensitivity and we just have lost our ability to have frequent face-to-face dialogue. My intend is never to imply that my opinion is somehow better than anyone else's and that your comments are not valued and appreciated. I am so glad we have this opportunity here on this site and I want to continue to nurture it and treat it with the same respect I would treat each of you on the golf course. Please feel free to call me out and remind me if i step on any toes out there. My intent is always good, execution maybe not always on par.

I have greatly reduced posting on this site, and I'm even thinking of leaving it all together because of a variety of reasons. I joined in May of 2010 when I believe this forum was just starting. It was a place to post their support and celebrate all things and all people who love the Titleist brand. Tell great stories about their experiences involving Titleist products. But it seems like this pure expression of all things Titleist have veered off course a little. I'm not offended by what anyone says. Words are words. What's import is how someone says what they say. But since we can't hear the subtext or intonation of what people say, and only read their words, it seems to me that a small percentage of people have another agenda that surrounds the first person singular. Arrogance and know-it-alls really rub me the wrong way. Other people go off topic of what is being posted. A few years ago, I was posting the number of rounds I played. Passing, 100, 200, 300 and over 400 rounds for the year. Every time I was excited to post these great numbers, a T.T. member would continue to tell me that some stranger who set the world record posted so many more. Instead of celebrating my accomplishments, this person would continually pee on my parade. I stopped posting my accomplishments after this. I had another person, who I don't know and never met, private message me and told me not to post or show what I had received from Titleist because, I guess, he was jealous. Really seemed odd to me that a grown man would be jealous of some swag. By and large, 99% of people are great. The other ones, not so much.
