  1. I always fix a couple that I didn't make each round. Not gonna go out of my way to do it but if I see it I'll fix it.

I agree with all comments. Unbelievable how a golfer can hit their approach shot and not see their ball mark. I have actually repaired multiple divots at my course. If most people do not have a divot tool a tee will work just as well.

I have a turf degree, and have worked at top tier privates, and nice semi privates. No matter where I worked, pitch marks were a problem. I am a member at a nice semi private, and playing this morning, we were talking about the number of marks on the greens. The rounds are way up due to the pandemic, and as a result, our greens have a bunch more pitch marks. Also, one of the guys that lives at the course said that there are a fair amount of folks practicing on the course in the evening.

Pitch marks are a challenge everywere I play, there is no green where I don't fix at least a handful of them, before putting.
    Unfortunatelly not everyone does it.
I try to make it my responsibility to ensure every green is in better shape when I leave it, than when I arrive at it.

I played Torrey Pines North today and it was unbelievable how many marks were on the green today, tried to fix as many as possible, but there were a ton.
